Those with the "mark" make war upon, conquer and spiritually "kill" anointed witnesses of God to make them spiritually inactive with reference to mankind.  (Rev 11:7).
 

The "beast" ascends out of the "sea" (mankind) with ten "horns", seven "heads", and upon its "horns" ten "diadems". Upon its head, blasphemous names (of political regimes against God). Symbolically like a leopard, with the feet of a bear, a lion's mouth, and the "dragon" satan's authority, power and throne. (See JW book: 'Aid to Bible Understanding' Pg. 199-202). Mankind follows the "beast" with admiration (wonder and approval). They worship satan the "dragon" because he has given his authority to the "wild beast". They ask, "Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?"

"Wild beast" speaks blasphemies against God and is given authority to act for 42 months. It blasphemes God, His Name, His residence and those residing in heaven.

"Wild beast" permitted to wage war with the holy ones for 42 months and to conquer them. It has authority over all mankind and wars against the spirits of holy anointed ones.

Those who worship it are not written in the "scroll of life" (will not be resurrected to life).

Another "beast" with two "horns" like a "lamb" (deceptively innocent in appearance), speaks as a "dragon" (has satanic power to authorize scientific and industrial developments).

Misleads mankind because of the signs it was granted to perform in sight of the "wild beast". Deludes mankind to make an "image" in honour of the revival of the "wild beast".

Was granted it to give "breath" to (make active) the "image of the beast" so that it speaks and causes to be spiritually "killed" all those who refuse to worship the "image".

Puts all persons under compulsion to receive the "mark" in hand and/or forehead. No one is allowed to trade without this "mark". The "mark" 666 is man's number. All those who worship earthly man-made systems have this "mark".  (See Pages 666T and 666U).

"Wild beast" is scarlet-coloured in that it shares in the guilt of the blood of the holy ones.

Throughout the ages the "wild beast" has been a vehicle for "Babylon the great" the "mother" of "harlot" sectarian religions worldwide. "She" is guilty of the blood of the holy ones.

The "wild beast" that was, is about to ascend out of the abyss. It will later be destroyed. Those  of earth's inhabitants who wonder admiringly at it are not written in the "scroll of life".

The "wild beast's" seven heads are the seven world rulers that have carried "Babylon". The sixth king existed when John received the vision. The seventh king is of short duration.  The "image of the beast" is the "eighth king" out of the previous seven. The "ten horns" mean "ten kings" that receive authority as kings for one "hour" with the "wild beast".

The "ten kings" confer their authority upon the "wild beast" to fulfil their single purpose. These will battle with Christ the "Lamb". But the "Lamb" and those called and chosen and faithful will conquer them. The "ten kings" and the "wild beast" will hate "Babylon" and will strip and desolate "her". They will devour "her" authority and wealth, and "she" will be completely burned with "fire". God puts this thought into their heads until the Words of  God have been accomplished. The "ten kings" and the "wild beast" carry out this "one thought" to destroy all remnants of sectarian authority over mankind.
