BANNING TO DESTRUCTION.

RECONCILIATION     OR A BAN.
"Look, I will send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. He will reconcile fathers to sons and sons to fathers, lest I come and put the land under a ban to destroy it."  (Mal 4:5,6 NEB).

When Almighty God has abyssed satan and his demons, the as yet unreconciled sons of anointed fathers that did not believe their fathers were anointed by God, and so refused to acknowledge their spiritual work of warring against the spirit of uncleanness in the spiritual "land" of God, will have this demonically-inspired "veil" of stubborn ignorance removed. (See 2 Cor 3:16-18 and Page 25/12/93. For a sample of their spiritual work, see Page 1/9/86). The spirits of unreconciled ones will be touched by the Spirit of God.  Having lived unrepentant worldly lives, their spirits will suddenly feel "thirsty" and their souls "dried out". (Isaiah 29:8)  (See Page 15/7/84). The repentance of such ones, their reconciliation to God, and to their anointed fathers, is in fulfilment of Malachi 4:5,6.

By the Spirit of Elijah a spiritual work will take place  to effect the reconciliation of unreconciled sons to their Spirit anointed fathers. This work concerns not only their reconciliation to each other, but more importantly, reconciliation of these sons to their Heavenly Father Jehovah "before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes."  It requires that all Spirit anointed fathers and their sons have love and deep respect for each other as to the Lord, lest Jehovah should come and put His spiritual "land under a ban to destroy it."  (Mal 4:6 NEB). An anointed father who initiates reconciliation with his son by the Spirit of Elijah must have it reciprocated. Reconciliation between father and son according to the spirit of this world is  not  reconciliation according to the spiritual requirements of the Word of God.  (Please read 2 Cor 5:17-20).

AN EXAMPLE OF BEING UNDER A BAN FROM GOD.
Ban:
A prohibition; sentence of banishment; anathematization; a denunciation; a curse. In its extensive etymology the Oxford Dictionary adds: 'Lord and master', and 'the viceroy of certain districts in Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia,* who  takes the command in time of war'.  Hence,  Bannat:  'The district under the jurisdiction of a ban.  To curse.'

There is evidence that the countries of Croatia* and Bosnia are currently under a Divine ban to their destruction. Brother is killing brother in all out war to destruction. While a variety of causes have been suggested for the killing taking place between warring nations, one cause is certain: They reject the Word of God, so the Spirit of Elijah will not take root in them. War is proof that they refuse reconciliation to Jehovah God. From this example, nations must know what to expect if Jehovah puts fathers and sons of a particular land "under a ban to destroy it"  because they refuse to become reconciled as to the Lord.

IN SUMMARY:
It should be clearly understood that this banning or "devoting of it to destruction" is brought about by Almighty God placing unrepentant lands under a curse. (Mal 4:6). This curse is not initiated by warring nations, but by Almighty God Jehovah as he withdraws His Spirit of reconciliation from them.
