"THE VINTAGE WILL BE OVER, AND NO PRODUCE "Within a year and some days you careless
ones will be agitated, because the The "fruit" to be gathered in are sons of Zion and alien residents attached to them in the spiritual "land" of God. (Isaiah 14:1). It does not include JW apostates. (Ezek 14:7,8). In the spirit of apostates there are two causes for shame and lamentation now to be made public as the reasons for their spiritually desolate condition after "a year and some days" (Isaiah 32:9,10): (1) Because "careless daughters" of the sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses have deceptively usurped man's authority and responsibilities, they have cultivated husbands and sons in the apostasy described in Isaiah 32:5-7. Senseless scoundrels they call generous and unprincipled men they call noble. (See NEB). Such women advocate these characteristics in men so that they can "wreck the afflicted ones" of God with "false sayings" and reward themselves with glory for their apostate activities against the Spirit of God. (32:7).
(2) For "a year and some days"
the apostasy of the sect of JWs was made abundantly clear to them. Denunciation
of their acts of apostasy by the "Little Scroll" began on the 14th
December 1976 and as of November 30th 1981 it was sent to them complete. (Rev 10:8-11).
Consequently, the "year" ended on the 25th November 1982. So with
reference to the "Little Scroll" there will begin a period of
"some days" of their agitation. (32:10). "Tremble, you women
who are at ease! Be agitated, you careless ones! Undress and make yourselves
naked, and gird sackcloth
upon the loins. Beat yourselves upon the breasts
in lamentation over the desirable fields, over the fruit-bearing vine."
(32:11,12).
They will gloat in their careless attitudes no more, as the
hubbub of their city is abandoned: "O'phel (fortress)
and (those of) The Watchtower themselves" will
become "bare fields". (32:14). This will be the outcome of
craving glory for their apostate husbands and sons in unfaithfulness to God,
while the "vine" was "fruit-bearing" with God's
people. (32:12). On account of the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement they
must dispose of their apostate teachings ("garments") and put on
the "sackcloth" of the "Little Scroll". (32:11).
That is why it is written: "In Zion the sinners have come to be in dread;
shivering has grabbed hold of the apostates: 'Who of us can reside for any time
with a devouring fire? Who of us can reside for any time with long
"UNTIL
UPON US THE SPIRIT IS POURED OUT FROM ON HIGH". (32:15).
