THE "NEW HEAVENS".

"How long will you turn this way and that, O unfaithful daughter? For Jehovah has created a new thing in the earth: a mere female will press around an able-bodied man." (Jer 31:22).
"A woman turned into a man." (NEB). .	"...frail woman becomes manly!" (Moffatt).

THE EXPLANATION. To understand the meaning of Jeremiah 31:22, verses 20 to 34 also require consideration. From verse 21 we know it concerns:
(1)	"O virgin of Israel". (31:21).
(2)	Jehovah has "created a new thing" in the earth. (31:22).
(3)	Jehovah has concluded a *"new covenant"* with the houses of *"Israel"* and "Judah". (31:31).
(4)	This *"new covenant"* is that Jehovah will *put His Law within them* (in their hearts) so that they become *His* people. (31:33).

This virgin "woman" that "becomes manly" (Moffatt) or turns "into a man" (NEB) or presses "around an able bodied man" (NWT) is the heavenly "woman" of God. Prospective members of the heavenly "woman" on earth receive spiritual instruction by Holy Spirit from the heavenly throne of God, and administer these spiritual teachings from the Word of God to their "domestics". (Matt 24:45-47). But when these 144,000 sons of God have been gathered from among mankind, they will become a "new thing": "A woman turned into a man". The "new heavens" that Jehovah is creating to govern mankind will administer heavenly standards of righteousness to a "new earth" in which righteousness is to dwell. (2 Peter 3:13. Heb 12:22-24. Rev 21:1-4). The former heavens that have been infiltrated by satan and his demons will be dissolved. (Rev 12:7,8).

The creation of these "new heavens" will occur sometime after the "tribulation ten days" (years) and the 3½ year period in which prospective members of the heavenly "woman" fled into a spiritual "wilderness". (Rev 2:10) (Rev 12:14).

The mediator of the "new covenant" who appeared before the person of God for us is The Christ Michael the First born Son of God. (Heb 9:15 & 24). Faithful anointed sons of God of the heavenly "woman" still on earth when the full number of 144,000 under the "new covenant" is complete, will at the appointed time be changed from the frail earthly members they once were, into incorruptible, immortal spirits of the heavenly "woman". And as the "body of The Christ" ("woman turned into a man") they will administer the righteousness of God for earth's inhabitants. (Eph 4:11-13).
