THE SIGNAL OF JEHOVAH'S DAY.

"…by a Spirit of Judgement, a consuming Spirit". (Isaiah 4:4 NEB).

OVER GATHERINGS AND PLACES OF ASSEMBLY. (Isaiah 4:5 NEB & Moffatt).
"He looked for justice and found it denied, for righteousness but heard cries of distress." (5:7 NEB). Because the unjust causes for such "cries of distress" remain, the Spirit of the Judgement of God will consume all those falsely laying claim to spiritual "Israel". Only when Jehovah has removed the falsehood ("filth") of self proclaimed "women of Zion" will He have spiritually cleansed "Israel" His spiritual "land". Those who are left remaining shall be called holy, all those enrolled in the book of life. Only they shall have His protection for their holy gatherings and places of assembly. (4:3-5 NEB).

"WHAT JEHOVAH MAKES SPROUT". (4:2).
These influential "women of Zion" will suffer reproach for setting up in authority teraphim (family gods) in places of assembly namely, their apostate husbands and sons. After Jehovah has destroyed these apostates, the ones remaining in Zion "will be said to be holy to Him." (4:3). As for the "houses" (husbands and sons) of self appointed "women of Zion", who through apostate teaching annexed the spiritual "land" of God with their own kind, they will become "an outright object of astonishment, without an inhabitant." (5:8,9). After the deaths of their husbands and sons, "seven women" will each beg to be called by the name of a true son of Zion to take away the reproach of having the name of their now dead family god. (4:1).

After the destruction of a tenth of the "City" (apostate covenant-leavers. Rev 11:13), "what Jehovah makes sprout" is a "holy seed". (Isaiah 6:13). This "holy seed" are faithful anointed sons of God. Their obedient male descendants shall be the "fruitage of the land". (4:2). Besides these, there are other remaining ones of the "great crowd", who also come through the "great tribulation" faithful to God, and those who give glory to God out of fear of the calamitous events brought about by Him rather than to "names of men" now dead. (Rev 11:13 Large Print NWT footnote). As for the man by the name of Winder, it was proven to him and to apostate JW congregations worldwide that he could only "Come on up here" literally! (Rev 11:12). Winder* was the name of the man blown through the roof of an Australian JW congregation. (See: 'Man Killed in Blast at Sydney Service' on Page 25/4/86B).

Jehovah communicates through His Spirit anointed sons, not through a "disgusting thing" "standing in a holy place". (Matt 24:15,16. Dan 11:31). And yet, these apostates will continue in their stubborn defiance until anguish of spirit causes their faces to burn with shame. (13:8 NEB). During the "ten days" (years) of tribulation, this anointed writer made known the denunciations of God and His wrath against spirit rebellion. (Rev 2:10). Now such rebels are to be cut down "like a massive tree in which, when there is a cutting down [of them], there is a stump; a holy seed will be the stump of it." (6:13). The cutting down [of them] is because they have been "pronouncing the wicked one righteous in consideration of a bribe". (5:23 & 1:27-31). Jehovah will issue a command to His sanctified ones, and call mighty ones for expressing His anger, to come with the weapons of His denunciation to wreck all the earth. (13:3-5).

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, 'I will also cause a blast of windstorms to burst forth in My rage, and in My anger there will occur a flooding downpour, and in rage there will be hailstones for an extermination. And I will tear down the wall that you men have plastered with whitewash and bring it into contact with the earth, and its foundation must be exposed. And she will certainly fall, and you must come to an end in the midst of her; and you will have to know that I am Jehovah.'" (Ezek 13:13,14).
