"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (8):
'Russell
fortified his chronology with cranky evidence from "God's Stone Witness
the Pyramid... the measurements of the Great Pyramid represent the earth and
God's plan for the earth's salvation..."'
(Visions of Glory. Pg.35,36). This nonsense and numerous other "swelling
expressions" of apostate error by this founder member of JWs is still
being published and circulated. Giving glory to Russell in their publications,
the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society are effectively excusing his many errors
while slithering away from his unfulfilled prophecies.
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (9):
Russell proclaimed that
'"the deliverance of fleshly Israel" was due to take place before 1914: "The re establishment of Israel in the land of Palestine is one of the events to be
expected in this day of the Lord." The year 1881, he believed, marked the time
for "the turning back of special light upon the long-blinded Jews."'
(Visions of Glory. Pg.103). Again it has not happened. Those responsible for
"swelling expressions" use them to cultivate a "house"
of "intense lovers" for themselves, and masquerade as anointed
ones (spiritual "Jews"). (Zech 13:4 6. Rev 3:9).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (10):
'Reflecting
on the (new) congregational arrangement providing for elders and ministerial
servants, Roger Morgan was moved to say: "This is God's doing."'
Details of their new arrangement were published in the
1975 JW Yearbook describing the
'shifting of responsibilities'
from anointed ones, and the appointment of unsealed men as
'elders'.
(Pg.250). Unsealed
'elders'
of the "man of lawlessness"* removed
the "constant feature" (Holy Spirit) by removing anointed ones
from Christ's congregations, enabling this "disgusting thing"*
to stand in their holy place. Anointed ones were a restraint to their apostasy.
As for the
'(new) congregational arrangement': "This is Gog's
doing." (2
Thess 2:1-12. Dan 11:31).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (11):
'The
Princes Are Here!'
was declared by F. W. Franz
at huge assemblies of JWs, asserting that princes of the future "new earth" were
present at those assemblies. (Visions of Glory. Pg.167,168). The truth is that
those present were future members of the "man of lawlessness".
Without hope of everlasting life, they were instrumental in the removal of
anointed sons of God from their congregations! To them the Lord's words
apply: "And these will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the
righteous ones into everlasting life." (Matt 25:46).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (12):
'Oh,
how they will hail the restoring to life on earth of Enoch, Noah, Shem, Abraham,
Isaac, Jacob, Boaz, David, Hezekiah and Josiah! ...Being once again in the land
of the living.' (Man's Salvation Out Of World Distress. Pg.363).
What utter nonsense! Nowhere do the Scriptures refer to future
resurrections of flesh back to life on earth. After referring to righteous ones
of old, the apostle Paul wrote: "And yet, if they had indeed kept
remembering that place from which they had gone forth, they would have had
opportunity to return. But now they are reaching out for a better place, that
is, one belonging to heaven. Hence God is not ashamed of them, to be called upon
as their God, for he has made a city ready for them"
a place in the spirit heavens. (Heb 11:15,16). It is not that Almighty God
cannot resurrect mankind back to life on earth, but that it is not His Will to
do so.
While JWs may ascribe the bitter
denunciations of the "Little Scroll"
to Christendom, JWs belong to Christendom!

Another way to describe their "swelling expressions of no profit"
is "lying signs and portents". Remember what the Lord warned:
"Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the
inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false
prophets have gone forth into the world." (1 John 4:1) (2 Thess 2:9).
