REVEALING THOSE WHO UTTERED
"SWELLING EXPRESSIONS OF NO PROFIT".
Over the years, the following
"swelling expressions of no profit" became swollen like tumours in
the minds of those that are perishing. (2 Peter 2:18. 2 Thess 2:9,10).
They are of no profit in the advancement of Holy truths from the Word of God for
one's salvation.
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT"
(1):
Even
the name 'Jehovah's witnesses' is a swelling expression. In 1931, just before an
international convention, Rutherford
'had run out of suitably impressive material with which to energize his
followers. According to Macmillan, "he began to think about" what he would say
to Bible Students that was new and of any consequence… "Isaiah 43 came to his
mind"... What Rutherford had come up with at 2 o'clock in the morning was a new
name for Bible Students: Jehovah's witnesses.'

Rutherford was an apostate. The "new name, which the very mouth of Jehovah
will designate" is Hephzibah, that is, "My Delight Is in Her"
the heavenly "woman" of God. (Isaiah 62:2-4 NWT & NEB).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (2):
Rutherford
declared to a large assembly of Bible students that all those present were
anointed! In this way, Rutherford tried to lift himself above the
prerogative of God. (2 Thess 2:3,4). Only Jehovah anoints with Holy Spirit.
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (3):
'In
spite of their modest claim that they do not know "the day and the hour," they
have nevertheless led their followers to believe in at least five apocalyptic
dates.'
JWs now attribute more to the year
1914 than all other events in secular history. It is the linchpin of their
faith. All their literature is infested with that date. But as
'there was never any basis in secular history for assuming 607BC
to be the year of Jerusalem's destruction'
(from which they calculate 1914 as the end of Gentile dominion and the beginning
of Christ's reign) and since Gentiles still dominate, The Christ's reign has not
yet begun. (Visions of Glory. Pg.26,27).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (4):
'In
line with there being a sequence of trumpet blasts, special resolutions were
featured at seven conventions from 1922 to 1928.'

Pg.133). Their daring and arrogance is appalling. Most of their explanations of
the Revelation given to the apostle John are incorrect. With reference to the
writings of Charles Taze Russell, they wrote:
'many of his writings were collected and published in a book entitled The Finished Mystery. In time, though, this book proved to be unsatisfactory as an
explanation of Revelation',
(as are all their other explanations). (See the

"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (5):
That the
"great mountain" of Revelation 8:8,9
'represents how, during and after the first world war, the question of
government became a burning issue among mankind, especially in the lands of
Christendom.'

Pg.133). The "great mountain burning with fire" was created by the
nuclear test explosion at Bikini Atoll in 1946 in which a third of the sea
creatures died and a third of the ships were wrecked. (See Page
7/11/85A).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (6):
On
October 2 1914, Russell stated:
'The Gentile Times
have ended, their kings have had their day.'
But mankind is still under the rule of Gentile dominion 81 years later!
(Visions of Glory. Pg.107).
"SWELLING EXPRESSION OF NO PROFIT" (7):
'...the
"living saints" (Russell and his followers) would be suddenly and miraculously
caught away bodily to be with their Lord, in 1878... Pittsburgh newspapers
reported that on the night of the Memorial of Christ's death in 1878, Russell
was found on the Sixth Street Bridge dressed in a white robe, waiting to be
wafted to heaven.'

True
anointed sons of God are still alive on earth today in 1995. It is not the body,
but the spirit that will be caught away to heaven. (1 Cor 15:49-57).
