BLASPHEMY.
If anyone dares to utter, write, or have
recorded any form of profanity against the Sacred Name of Almighty God, or makes
an irreverent association to His Name, that one is guilty of BLASPHEMY.
THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC
STATEMENT IS BLASPHEMY AGAINST GOD:
|
WITNESSES BUSY.
'Cwmbran housewife Mrs. Janet Hoccom
supervised over
200 nappy changes
at a recent convention.
Mrs. Hoccom of The Birches, West
Pontnewydd, was at the
Jehovah's
Witnesses circuit convention at the Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre, which was
attended by two congregations from Cwmbran.
The
half-yearly conference attracted many families, and a special mothers' room
was operated for the benefit of the youngest visitors.
Mrs. Hoccom was helped by
her daughter Jane (14). Her husband was one of the convention
organisers. Teams of volunteers looked after catering, cleaning, first aid,
platform, public address and other departments over the two days.
Mr. Jack Saunders of Old Cwmbran ran a volunteers desk for visitors who
wished to help.
An
audience of 1,180 heard district supervisor Mr. David G. Carter speak
on "Deliverance in a Time of Anguish". Cwmbran witnesses will
be sharing some of the things discussed on their regular house to house
calls over the coming weeks.'

"You must not take
up the Name of Jehovah your God in a worthless way, for Jehovah will not
leave anyone unpunished who takes up His Name in a worthless way."
(Deuteronomy 5:11). |
"And I will give
attention to everyone that is climbing upon the
platform in that day, those who are filling the house of their
masters with violence and deception."
(Zephaniah 1:9). |
The following prophecy is the reply
of Jehovah to those falsely acting as priests, and to their followers in whom
the "seed" of their apostate teachings are being sown while
gathering at their festivals: "Look! I am rebuking on your account the
sown seed, and I will scatter dung upon
YOUR
faces, the dung of
YOUR
festivals;
and someone will actually carry
YOU
away to it."
(Mal 2:3).
By means of these communications I
"carry
YOU away to it".
Usurping the authority of Spirit
anointed sons of God in congregations is speaking and acting with impious irreverence* against the Holy
Spirit that resides within them. This is BLASPHEMY against the Holy Spirit of God, and is an unforgivable sin. (Matt 12:31,32. 1 Cor 3:16,17).
USURPING THE AUTHORITY OF ANOINTED ONES
IS THE 'SHIFTING
OF RESPONSIBILITIES'.
|
THIS IS (NOT)
GOD'S DOING.
Reflecting on the (new)
congregational arrangement
providing for elders and ministerial servants, Roger Morgan was moved to
say: "This is God's doing." Doubtless others will agree, since they may have
considered the resulting benefits.
The first SHIFTING OF RESPONSIBILITIES began in
September 1972, and by October 1 the arrangement of things in most
congregations had been adjusted.
In many cases, the former assistant congregation servant became the
presiding overseer, the previous congregation servant became the Theocratic
Ministry School overseer, and so forth. Here was proof that Christians
recognise Jehovah's rulership, his way of doing things in the congregation
of his people. Each year the elders in a congregation would rotate to
various positions, and they would work together as a body, having in mind
the spiritual welfare of the congregation and the need to cooperate with one
another in shepherding the flock of God allotted to them.' (1975 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses. Pg.250). |
