HOW THE
"MAN OF LAWLESSNESS" OF THE SECT The "man of lawlessness" described in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 are men who were once baptized into the life and purpose of The Christ to carry out the Will of God, but apostatized and became those for "a change". (Prov 24:21,22). THE
SELF-DESTRUCTIVE "CHANGE" THAT TOOK PLACE. The Christ's Spirit authority through the apostle Paul revealed that certain men would obey satan, the original lawless one, and carry out his will in Christ's congregations. Through these apostate men, satan operated with "lying signs and portents" and "with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved." (2 Thess 2:9,10). Their desire "for a change" was realized through the 'shifting of responsibilities' from faithful anointed sons of God to unsealed men, as recorded in the 1975 JW Yearbook, page 250. The sect of JWs chose unrighteousness and appointed lawless unsealed men as 'elders' and 'ministerial servants' to minister in JW congregations. See page 248 of the 1975 JW Yearbook, the book 'Visions of Glory', and the "Little Scroll" for evidence of their apostate teaching of "lying signs and portents" over many years. Lawless ones are so named by the Lord because they refuse to accept and have a love of the corrective truths from anointed brothers of the Lord. These truths were revealed to lawless ones by faithful anointed ones that were acting as a "restraint" to lawless teaching in congregations. But lawless enemies of God removed the Lord's Spirit corrective truths by removing the responsibilities of anointed ones that are the only channels of Spirit communications from God. As to those who were for "a change", it says: "My son, fear Jehovah and the king. With those who are for a change, do not intermeddle. For their disaster will arise so suddenly, that who is aware of the extinction of those who are for a change?" (Prov 24:21,22). Faithful anointed ones knew of the change that was taking place, but did not intermeddle. They watched it run its course, and then fled into the "wilderness" to be spiritually "fed" by the heavenly "woman" of God. Much of what they were "fed" was sent to apostate JW congregations as the "flying scroll". (Rev 12:6,14. Zech 5:1-4). When standing before God in the Judgement, there will be no mercy for those who have listened to and preferred the rebellious apostate teaching of the JW organization of lawless 'elders'. The spiritual work of faithful anointed ones has been to reveal these lawless ones in JW congregations by the Spirit of the Lord's mouth. (2:8). The denunciations of God recorded in the "Little Scroll" reveal their apostasy, and relevant pages have been sent to many "lawless ones". This is what will be prophesied again "with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings." (Rev 10:8-11). Thereafter, unsealed "lawless ones" falsely claiming to be elders of The Christ will no longer be able to deceive or corrupt true worshippers of God, for they will be brought to nothing by the manifestation of his presence. (2:8). They will not be allowed to sit among "temple" slaves of God. (2:4. 1 Cor 3:16,17). To have fellowship with God, one must obey Him to the very letter of His Holy Word. This must be one's rule of conduct. As to spiritual authority, Jesus said: "I do nothing on my own authority, but in all that I say, I have been taught by my Father." (John 8:28 NEB). And we, in turn, are taught through anointed men like Paul the apostle to the nations, called to be obedient to the Will of God through The Christ and remaining ones of The Christ's anointed brothers.
