887. "AND THE DEAD BODY OF JEZEBEL WILL CERTAINLY BECOME AS MANURE UPON THE FACE OF THE FIELD IN THE TRACT OF LAND OF JEZREEL, THAT THEY MAY NOT SAY: "THIS IS JEZEBEL."" (2 KINGS 9:37). (JEZREEL: GOD WILL SOW SEED). JEZEBEL'S
"MANURE"
"And His Spirit is like a flooding torrent that
reaches clear to the neck, to swing the nations to and fro with a sieve of
worthlessness". (Isaiah
30:28). The "sieve of worthlessness" will reveal who truly are
God's beloved people, refining out "that woman Jezebel" who
use various wiles to usurp man's authority and acquire glory for themselves
As people of the nations try to justify their Godlessness, they will be shaken
by His "sieve of worthlessness" and will not remain. (Isaiah
30:27,28. Heb 12:25-28
NEB).
Jehovah has said: "In the tract of
land of Jez're.el the dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel." (2 Kings 9:36).
The "dogs" are symbolic of those who "eat things sacrificed
to (dungy) idols" and are outside the arrangement
of God. (Rev 22:15. 2:20). The remains of "that woman Jezebel"
will be a dung-like memorial of the denunciations of God against "Jezebel"
women today. (Isaiah 30:27) (2 Kings 9:35). It is written: "The dead
bodies of mankind must also fall like manure upon the face of the field
and like a row of newly cut grain after the reaper". (Jer 9:22)
(Jer 25:31-33)
(Zeph 1:14 "And the threshing floors must be full of cleansed grain, and the press vats must overflow with new wine and oil." (Joel 2:24). This scripture describes beloved people of God who have proven to be truly obedient to the "good news" of The Christ and have spiritually progressed since their baptism. They have become "cleansed grain", with no "dungy idols" (ba'al worshippers) among them. (Ezek 14:6-8). There is no need of rank among people of God, as approved anointed underpriests of God administer the Spirit of His Word to them. Their physical needs will be fulfilled in accordance with their love for God.
While the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon all mankind is for
Judgement, for His people it will be a reason for rejoicing. (Joel
2:28,29). "And I will make compensation to you for the years that the
locust, the creeping, unwinged locust, and the cockroach and the caterpillar
have eaten, My great military force that I have sent among you. And you will
certainly eat, eating and becoming satisfied, and you will be bound to praise
the Name of Jehovah your God, who has done with you so wonderfully; and My
people will not be ashamed to time indefinite. And you people will have to know
that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God and there is no
other. And My people will not be ashamed to time indefinite." (Joel 2:25 18/11/82. |
