(Cont. from Page 886A). 886B. "ISRAEL CLAMOURS, "A PROPHET IS A CRAZY FOOL, Unfaithful covenant-leavers among JWs are rebels with a spirit of 'Ephraimite' stubbornness and pride, exalting themselves to such a pitch of sin and hostility before Almighty God as to call "a man inspired" of God "insane!" (Dan 11:30,31). Even though "the prophet is God's watchman placed over Ephraim", "within the temple of his God men are hostile to him!" But God shall cast off these rebels, and "they shall be vagabonds among the nations." (Hosea 9:7-9 & 17 Moffatt). Those called to become members of the heavenly "woman" of God but who spiritually "fornicated", were not chosen by Him for further spiritual development. (Hosea 2:2,3) (Matt 22:14 RSV). "Wheat beer" are the apostate teachings of their "drunken" state, which merely gave increase to their membership. Jehovah having taken away His "grain in its time" and "wine in its season", their sacrifices have merely been for their worship of ba'al. (Hosea 4:18,19. 2:9,13). "PRECIOUS" THINGS FROM "VALUELESS THINGS". Those who receive the Spirit of the indignation of God as the prophet Jeremiah did, fear Jehovah might cause a spiritual "drought" within their spirit: "Wilt thou really disappoint me, like a stream that runs dry?" (Jer 15:18 Moffatt). These "waters" of the indignation of God are what is necessary to spiritually cleanse one of "passion's dross". Only Jehovah can "restore you to (His) service" as His spokesman. (Jer 15:19 Moffatt). His indignation is expressed in the Spirit of His denunciations. "Valueless things" are valueless* shepherds. What is "precious" are those once under the "yoke" of valueless shepherds but who "come over to your side", knowing that those who are spokesmen of God "go not over to join them."* (Jer 15:19 Moffatt & NWT) (See Page 884). To withstand their enemies, Jehovah makes His spokesmen "impregnable". "They will attack you but they will not prevail, for I am with you to deliver you and save you, says the Lord." (Jer 15:20 NEB). Among those who have fought against spokesmen of God are "valueless" shepherds: Self-appointed JW 'elders' and 'ministerial servants' that have slipped in to Christ's congregations. (Jude V.4). Jehovah did not send them or appoint them as His "spokesman". (See Ezek 13:6,7). These presumptuous ones are the "sons and daughters" "born in this place" that are destined to become "dung upon the surface of the ground". (Jer 16:2-4 NWT) (See Moffatt). "I SHALL CUT OFF THE NAMES OF THE IDOLS OUT OF THE LAND". (Zech 13:2).
