After many
conversations I have had over the years while preaching the "good news"
of The Christ during the "appointed times", and after hearing what
people had to say, I was inspired to write the following:
IS GOD CREATING YOU?
Reason
truthfully: Did God create the first man Adam for rebellion? Had
God finished the creation of his spirit? Given that Almighty God and His Son are
not flesh, did they create Adam in their spirit
"image" and "likeness"? Or did God give mankind the
power of reason merely to end like cattle? Certainly not! (Gen 1:26).
The Word says
Man should reflect the glory of God. (1 Cor 11:7). But Adam was only
created in flesh. He did not begin the creative process for the perfecting of
his spirit. And as Adam's spirit was not perfected, his flesh contained within
it the very cause of his death. It was for rejecting God's voice and obeying the
voice of his "rib" that Adam died.
Reason
truthfully: Have you the kind of freedom that actually imprisons you?
Do you refuse to consider the pretexts by which you engage in Godless
preoccupations?
Do you rely solely upon your own philosophy because you believe
it to be greater than
the wisdom of God?
Or has willing obedience allowed the
process of Divine creation to take place within your spirit?
Has any man ever
created life force, or living flesh?
Is your spirit like unyielding clay, or has it been burnished like gold?
Are your curses the rejection of His Spirit discipline, or do your words reflect
Him?
Are all the things you own really yours? Do you value them more than God?
Do you call to Him only in desperation, or after many prayers before your need
of Him?
Endurance during ostracism and persecution for righteousness' sake is blessed.
Has God removed the "veil" of delusion put over your head by those
hunting your soul?
Some think sheltering in foolishness will provide relief, but shall tire
themselves out.
Others say: 'The Almighty is my God,' then cry, 'Mother
of God!' But who created her?
Do you ostracize men of God then expect God's favour?
Many still believe that The Christ is God that God anointed Himself
and
proclaimed to Himself, "This is my beloved son": Their
belief is falsely called 'knowledge'.
Do you say: 'I love God', but reject His Word through His
prophets?
Can you hate lies while worshipping false gods?
Do you believe that solely by frequenting a building to hear words about God you
are serving Him? Is not serving Him making known His Will for mankind,
reflecting His glory, and obeying the teachings issued through His faithful
anointed servants helping them to declare abroad the excellencies of
the One True God? (1 Peter 2:9,10).
Do you listen to those who ape "outlandish fashions" to
appear holy, teaching falsehood to tickle your ears and gaining prominence
at your expense? (2 Tim 4:3,4).
