THE IDENTITY OF THOSE PERMITTED TO "BUY" AND "SELL".

An important aspect of Godless "Babylon" is that "all nations have drunk deep of (have been ruined by) the fierce wine of her fornication"     as kingly members of the political "wild beast" wallow in her shameless luxury and "merchants the world over" have "grown rich on her bloated wealth." ⁽⁷⁴⁾

That "nobody might be able to buy or sell (trade) except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name (666)" is borne out by history. ⁽⁷⁵⁾ In 14th century Britain, merchant gilds consisting of non-productive members called Burgesses enjoyed a monopoly of trade within boroughs. They alone were entitled to "buy or sell". No one was permitted to trade with non-gildsmen. Merchant gilds were analogous to the Chamber of Commerce of the present day. They  were also closely connected with the borough administration. (The prosperity of the one was the prosperity of the other). This collaborative commercial/political system has been adopted internationally. The "name" was the forerunner of named traders today with the "mark" of the "wild beast" permitted to "buy or sell" in the stock market.

On 27th October 1986 deregulation of the London Stock Exchange began. With the introduction of computers, stocks and shares are now bought and sold directly, without the intervention of brokers or jobbers (modern-day gilds). Whereas before de-regulation politicians were the policy-makers regulating stock market trading and controlling commerce and banking, as a result of economic necessity among all trading nations, we have witnessed laissez-faire, the de  regulation of the trading practices of those who "buy" and "sell" in international financial markets.

Because government policy-makers exert far less influence over the markets, they have been forced by economic recession and mass unemployment to create workfare schemes, whereby employers are offered financial incentives paid out of public funds to continue "driving others to work".  Founder members, sponsors, and all who work physically ("hand") or intellectually ("forehead") ⁽⁷⁶⁾ for the "wild beast" and receive its "mark" are worshippers of the "dragon" satan who has given his power, throne and great authority to the "wild beast". ⁽⁷⁷⁾  Deprivation of the masses by the excesses of capitalism and taxation instituted by the privileged classes is protected within politically extended and legally protected boundaries. These boundaries are enforced by the judicial system and law enforcement agencies such as the police.
