JUDE V.18 & 19.

A REBUKE.

"'In the final age there will be men who pour scorn on religion, and follow their own Godless lusts.' These  men draw a line between spiritual and unspiritual persons, although they are themselves wholly unspiritual."  (Jude V.18,19 NEB).

"These are the people who set up divisions and distinctions, low creatures, destitute of the Spirit."  (V.19 Moffatt).

"These are the ones making separations, soulical, Spirit not having." (V.19 Greek Interlinear Translation).

These men are also described as "a blot on your love-feasts, where they eat and drink without reverence. (1) They are shepherds who take care only of themselves. (2) They are clouds carried away by the wind without giving rain, trees that in season bear no fruit, (3) dead twice over and pulled up by the roots. (4) They are fierce waves of the sea, foaming shameful deeds, (5) they are stars that have wandered from their course, and the place for ever reserved for them is blackest darkness."  (V.12,13 NEB).

THOSE OF ELI'S "HOUSE" TODAY.
With reference to Jude verses 12 and 13, currently there are child abusers (paedophiles) and practising homosexuals among apostate priests occupying the spiritual "land" of God. There are even apostate priests overseeing and sheltering them.  All these men have lost their hope in God.  They are "dead twice over" and "uprooted". Although some faithful servants of God suffer ringing in their ears, they have not offended God as Eli and his sons did. But the future of priests occupying the spiritual "land" of God and playing false to Him is "blackest darkness."  (1 Sam 3:10  14 NEB).

Sadly, the great majority of mankind face the same destructive end, for they hate any mention of spiritual principles. They only feel comfortable with worldliness, and feel under scrutiny and resentful when the Word of God is spoken to them.

There are men who are fond of preaching the word to others, but who disobey the "Way" of The Christ themselves     disparaging others that they may appear righteous before men. Setting up "divisions and distinctions" among others, they are destitute of the Spirit of God. All these sectarian misleaders are being revealed as never before in this "final age".  The "dragon" satan is also being uprooted, and although his evil influence among his followers is well established, it will continue only for "a short period of time."  (Rev 12:12).

OF REFERENCES (1) to (5):
(1)

Apostates who "eat and drink without reverence" for God show a lack of respect for His Godship when in the company of those meeting with them to worship and praise God.

(2)

Apostate priests are valueless "shepherds" who have only their own selfish interests at heart.

(3) Apostate priests do not have "fruitage of the spirit" to give in due season.  (Gal 5:22,23).
(4) Apostate "shepherds" shall suffer the everlasting "second death".  (Rev 20:13-15).
(5) Child sex abuse and homosexuality among apostate priests are "shameful deeds".
