WHY THE FIRST
ANOINTED CHRIST If The Christ had not come among mankind, we would all be destined to oblivion. This is what Almighty God said about His servant The Christ Michael who resided for a while among mankind: "I, the Lord, have called you with righteous purpose and taken you by the hand; I have formed you, and appointed you to be a light (covenant) to all peoples, a beacon for the nations, to open eyes that are blind, to bring captives out of prison, out of the dungeons where they lie in darkness." (Isaiah 42:1 & 42:6,7 NEB). The Christ's word through Isaiah reveals he was anointed by God "to tell good news (of everlasting salvation) to the meek ones", to "bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to those taken captive, and the wide opening of the eyes even to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of good will on the part of Jehovah and the day of vengeance on the part of our God; to comfort all the mourning ones" over Zion. (Isaiah 61:1,2). After reading these scriptures and coming to the realization that they are "prisoners" in spirit "darkness", the question that millions of unsanctified faithless people should ask is: Why are they not obedient to The Christ that they too might escape spirit "darkness"? It is because they worship satan the god of this system of things, who blinds the minds of unbelievers and keeps them in stubborn ignorance of the spiritual requirements of Almighty God. Their 'captivity' and 'blindness' is of mind and spirit. They are held by the superhuman evil influence of invisible demon spirits serving satan, and by their own self-will against the Will of God. Only the "Way" of The Christ can free such spirit prisoners. (John 14:6). To be subjected to God by The Christ requires humility or meekness.* Arrogant rebel spirits refuse to be subjected to God. But accepting "the truth will set you free". (John 8:31,32). Putting into practice the Will of God by obedience to the written word of His Christ is how one is freed from spirit "darkness". (Eph 6:11,12). By Holy Spirit the apostle Paul revealed: "If now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through." (2 Cor 4:3,4). "But when there is a turning to Jehovah, the veil is taken away." (2 Cor 3:16). Foremost in promoting the god of this system in opposition to Almighty God are the political leaders of the "wild beast" and the misleaders of sectarian false religions worldwide. (Rev 13:14 17. 18:2,3). We must obey the Word of God: "Get out of her, My people, if you do not want to share with her in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues." (Rev 18:4).
