(Cont. from Page 7/7/98A).

The Lord said he would come "as a thief".  Why?  So that people could be judged according to their deeds at a time they least expect him. Not having anticipated his coming, they will be unable to make last minute changes in their lives which are not genuine.  (Rev 16:15).

The Lord's coming is a period of unspecified length, that his Judgement may be seen to be fair and just. For example:  Those currently worshipping Princess Diana as their goddess are judged as idolaters worshipping a dungy idol, and are abandoned ones. (Rev 21:8). Also abandoned are the millions who 'Ran the World' to demonstrate their defiance of the Will of God to sacrifice Ethiopia as the ransom for His spiritual sons of "Jacob".  Survivors of Ethiopia will offer a "gift" of praise to God, rather than to idols.  (Isaiah 43:1-4 & 18:7).

One's whole life is judged. There will be no 'eleventh hour' Christians before the arrival of our Lord as some would like to believe. Having refused to be subjected to God through the "good news" of faith in The Christ while the opportunity still existed, how can they expect to be forgiven now that the "good news" has come to an  end?  (Rev 10:7).

ABANDONED ONES DESTINED FOR EVERLASTING SPIRIT "FIRE":
False prophets:  "I am against the prophets, says the Lord, who concoct words of their own and then say, 'This is His very word'… misleading My people with wild and reckless falsehoods"
and who then ask 'What  is  the burden of Jehovah?'". A prophet of God replies: "You people are     O what a burden! And  I  shall certainly abandon you, is the utterance of Jehovah."  (From Jer 23:31-33 NEB & NWT)  (See 23:39,40 NEB).

Enemies of anointed "least" ones: "'To the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me'.  And these will depart into everlasting cutting-off".  (From Matt 25:41-46).

Fornicators:  Those who have "committed fornication excessively and gone out after flesh for unnatural use" will undergo "the judicial punishment of everlasting fire". (Jude V.7). Those practicing homosexual activities     worshipping the creation rather than the Creator.  (Rom 1:24-27).

Worshippers of the political "wild beast" and sectarian "false prophet":  "And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake…"  (Rev 19:20. See 17:8).

The apostate "man of lawlessness":  "…whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the Spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence".  (2 Thess 2:1-12).

Also abandoned are:  "The cowardly, the faithless, and the vile, murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and liars of every kind, their lot will be the second death, in the lake that burns with sulphurous flames."  (Rev 21:8 NEB).
