THE "LONG-STANDING DEVASTATED PLACES"
OF ISAIAH 61:4.

A DREAM/VISION.
On May 22nd 2001, I received a dream/vision in which I was standing with my wife Diane next to a policeman. He refused to let us walk over to a woman distressed over the loss of her child. We were both about to be questioned about her loss, when the dream/vision ended.

The following day, my wife, my two eldest sons and I visited St. Fagans Folk Museum near Cardiff, UK.  Located there are long-standing devastated places     old houses from around Wales that have been carefully dismantled and rebuilt  in the grounds of this open museum so that people may view the houses and relics of past generations. While walking around each of these houses, a little boy approximately 4 years of age came up to me and boldly insisted that he  show me where the steam engine was. His insistence was very strange, and lasted about twenty minutes.  Then his grandmother came and appealed to him to stop pestering me. She told us that she didn't know where the engine was, at which point the little boy realized he didn't know either, and insisted I take him.  My family and I were very tired and had sat down to rest.  He persisted, so I said, 'but my legs died half an hour ago.'  When I had said this, I thought it was a very strange thing to say to a little boy.

With reference to anointed sons of God after the prophetic "three and a half days" (years) of Revelation 11:11,12 have elapsed, it is written: "Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their  feet".  This means they will be given heavenly Spirit authority from God to spiritually rebuild those under a "veil" of spirit ignorance and in a desolate spirit condition. (2 Cor 3:16-18 NEB). As the descendants of past generations they are the "long standing devastated places" of "former times", and will be redeemed and restored by means of the "Way of Holiness". (Isaiah 35:8-10).  They will receive spiritual insight from God to help them attain a favourable standing before Him.

I finally gave in to the little boy, and he followed me just a few yards through the undergrowth to a clearing where the engine stood. The little boy was overjoyed. Coupled with his desire to search for the engine was the fact that  my son Christopher had recently submitted 'The  Little  Scroll',  'An Anthology of Spiritual Poems',  'The Spiritual Companion', and 'The Final Signs Before the Imminent Arrival of the Son of Man' websites to internet search engines worldwide, including many 'Christian' search engines. To date around sixty engines have accepted the submission of our websites.

As the writer of The Opened "Little Scroll" of Revelation 10:1-11, the following scriptures came to mind from the  dream/vision and events that followed. In Isaiah 61:4 it says: "And they must build the long-standing devastated places; they will raise up even the desolated places of former times, and they will certainly make anew the devastated cities, the places desolate for generation after generation."

Further, while viewing the old furniture in one of the houses of the museum, I noticed an old Bible on a table entitled 'Gog... [something]'. The Bible had been wired shut. "Gog of Magog" is the symbolic name for satan and the enforcement agencies of the political "wild beast". Outside the last house was a young woman standing next to a rope that blocked entry to one of the houses. 'Are we prohibited from entering?' I asked. 'Yes,' she replied, 'it's having some repairs done to it.' (Isaiah 58:12). Then, on returning down a country lane near the old houses I remarked to my eldest son Christopher, 'Look at these trees, I've never seen anything so tall !'  (Isaiah 61:3).  Our hope is that the Lord our God will begin to use us to rebuild the "desolated places of former times". The Lord has promised: "See how the first prophecies have come to pass, and now I declare new things; before they break from the bud I announce them to you."  (Isaiah 42:9 NEB).
