THE FIRST KNOWN APPEARANCE OF THE
POLITICAL "IMAGE" OF THE "WILD BEAST".

Six years after Edward II had been impeached and deposed by Parliament in 1327, Edward III achieved a military victory over the Scots at Halidon Hill. Since then, the Scottish people have been under the political authority of the English "image of the wild beast". Versions of the "image of the wild beast" administer satanic political authority over almost all nations on earth. (Rev 13:15-17). Interestingly, Scotland has lived under the authority of the English Parliament for almost 666 years, but are about to take their first step toward devolution. This indicates that satanic power invested in governing members of his "image" has grown weak, and will soon come to its end. (See Isaiah 14:9,10).

Given that England was once the cradle of demoncracy, many nations are witnessing its recent political impotency; which will lead to the demise of satanic authority among members of the political "image of the wild beast" worldwide. At the arrival of The Christ Michael, mankind will witness the political "wild beast" being abyssed "while still alive" (still active) and the end of its tyrannical rule. (Rev 19:20).

THE ORIGIN OF THE "MARK" AND HOW IT REPRESENTS A MAN'S NAME.
Historically, the German 'mark' was the name given to an area owned and cultivated by a community of free men. In Norman times, these areas were called 'manors', and were enclosed by a quick set hedge as a barrier to outlaws and wild beasts. In Anglo Saxon times this boundary hedge was known as a tun (from which 'town' is derived). When boundaries of land were established, each boundary was set by a "mark" against the name of the registered landowner. The owner of an enclosed 'manor' therefore had a "mark" of satanic authority assigned to him, administered by a member of the "image of the wild beast". Manors were owned by the king, by Lords and nobles, and by the Church. Merchant gilds, consisting of non-productive members (Burgesses) enjoyed a monopoly of trade within town boroughs. They alone were entitled to "buy or sell". No one was permitted to trade with non-gildsmen. These gilds were analogous to the Chamber of Commerce of the present day. They were closely connected with the borough administration. This collaborative commercial/political system has been adopted internationally. (Rev 13:16,17).

One must count back 666 years from 1982 to find evidence of the early beginnings of the "image of the wild beast" to 1316AD and the reign of Edward II. It was during his reign that the first 'Model Parliament' became two Houses (Magog): one including the nobility and higher clergy, the other including knights and burgesses. From then on, no law could be made, nor tax levied, without the consent of Parliament. By the weapon of impeachment Parliament controlled the king's choice of ministers. Even Edward II himself was deposed by Parliament. And so the "image of the wild beast" was born, but it was not ready to wield authority over the entire world until 1982 after it had waged war with the holy ones for 42 months. God has prophesied that He will put "hooks" in the "jaws" of Gog (satan) of Magog (houses of Gog) and turn him around in the last days. Police and military forces of Gog are compelled by the "mark" of the "wild beast" to guard political systems of Gog from demonstrations of public anger or revolt. These "hooks" in their "jaws" will force them to face the Judgement of God for having protected enemies of God and participated in "injurious schemes" against God's people. (Rev 13:16-18). Interestingly, the UK emergency number is 999 and looks like "hooks", and when 'turned around' becomes 666 the "number" of the "wild beast". Police and military forces also use "large shield", "buckler" and "helmet" to quell rioters by force. (Ezek 38:4,5).

SO WHO IS THE "EIGHTH KING"?
The "image of the wild beast" is also the "eighth king" of Revelation 17:11. It "springs from the seven" former world powers and is made up of many nations and their political regimes of organized rebellion against God. The "dragon" satan has given his authority to the "eighth king" of the "wild beast". (Rev 13:4).
