THE RULE OF GOD WILL DESTROY THE THREE BABYLONS:
THE  LITERAL,  THE  SECTARIAN,  AND  THE  COMMERCIAL.

Through the outpouring of the seventh "bowl" of the wrath of God upon earth, the place where ancient Babylon  was  originally located (modern-day Iraq) will be overthrown like Sodom and Gomorrah. (Rev 16:17  19)  (Isaiah 13:19,20 NEB). Such disasters will extend worldwide, as the wicked inhabitants of each nation are exterminated.  (Isaiah 13:11 NEB).

The location of the ancient city of Babylon, fifty-five miles south of Baghdad, was where "Babylon the great, the mother of the harlots" originated.  Sectarian "harlot" religions that this "mother" gave birth to actively practice their spiritistic rebellion today within all nations (and over whom this enthroned "mother" sits). (Rev 17:1-3).  However, "Babylon" consists not only of sectarian "harlot" religions and Babylon/Iraq, but also of commercial "Babylon"     the merchants and traders made rich by "her". (Rev 18:11-17).  As "her" vehicle "Babylon" uses the political "wild beast":  Demoncracy and dictatorship. All their systems instituted with satanic power and authority.  (Rev 13:2 & 16-18).

As to one's own readiness, it is important to understand that with the seventh and final "bowl" of the wrath of  God being poured out upon earth, Almighty God shall have begun His Rule over mankind, confronting the anger of nations with His wrath.  (Rev 11:18).

Isaiah prophesied that in the Day of the Lord a song of derision will be raised over the "king of Babylon" when he becomes as weak as the "goatlike leaders" he once inspired, and is abyssed with them. (Isaiah 14:3  6 NEB)  (Isaiah 14:9  11 NWT). The life and cruel works of the last ruler of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, are described in Isaiah 14:16-21 NEB.  Interestingly, 'Saddam' in Arabic means: 'one who strikes' (Isaiah 14:6).

It will soon become clear that in the abundance of time allowed him satan has failed to set his throne "high  above the stars of God" through "goatlike leaders" selected to achieve his ambition. (Isaiah 14:12  15 NEB).  The world is still  divided, and many still kill or are killed. Indeed, there is no more room for further deeds of violence.  (2 Esdras 15:5-9 NEB).
