RAISING THE "STANDARD" THAT LAUNCHES
The purpose of raising this
all-important
"standard" is to summon all nations for the imminent
outpouring of the wrath of God upon every Godless individual and nation on earth:
To
rally all who have warred in spirit against Almighty God, against His servants,
and His incoming Kingdom on earth. (Isaiah 13:11 NEB)
(Rev 16:17 Through past ages until now, those warring against the Will of God have done so through the worship of sectarian and commercial "Babylon" and the political "wild beast". (Rev 17:1-6 & 18:15-17). All these worshippers belong to spiritistic "Babylon" that Almighty God shall desolate. As for the inhabitants of modern day Iraq, the original Babylon, Jehovah will arouse against them the cruel forces of the "Medes" (modern-day Iran) who care nothing for the wealthy, their wives, or their children. (13:17,18 NEB). Babylon/Iraq and sectarian "Babylon" shall both be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God overthrew them, never to be inhabited again. (13:19-22) (Rev 18:1-8). All Godless activities originate from the evil spirit influence of the "king of Babylon" satan through those willingly inspired by and worshipping his Godless systems. (14:4 NEB). In anticipation of the Judgement of God upon him, satan gave his evil authority to the political "wild beast" before being "felled to the earth" and brought to "the depths of the abyss". (14:12-15 NEB. Rev 12:7-9 & 13:4-8).
When the
"standard"
is raised, the evil spirits of Godless people of the world and their leaders
("nobles") hearing this call to arms will set themselves to war
against the incoming Spirit of the Lord's Judgement. (Joel 3:9 The following scriptures are proof that the prophecy of Isaiah against Babylon has not as yet been fulfilled: "Never again shall she be inhabited, no man shall dwell in her through all the ages". (13:20 NEB). As we know, Babylon/Iraq is currently inhabited by millions of people. And although ancient Babylon was destroyed by armies in 539 BC, it was subsequently rebuilt and reinhabited. But in 96 AD the apostle John saw in vision from God that "Babylon the great" would be totally destroyed in "the Lord's day". (Rev 1:10 & 18:4-8). May the Lord God have mercy on His obedient people. (14:1,2 NEB). Amen Lord.
