WHY JEWS ARE "BELOVED FOR THE SAKE
OF THEIR FOREFATHERS". (Romans 11:28).

THE REVERSAL BY GOD'S MERCY FOR THEIR SAKE.
One of my Gentile progenitors was of course my father. And his father was the last of my forefathers. So the question arises: Why are the Jews described as "beloved for the sake of their forefathers"? (Rom 11:28).

The reason for this, is that down to this very day natural born Jews as a nation have been denied the opportunity to be created in the spirit "image" and "likeness" of Jehovah God and His Firstborn Son The Christ Michael. (Gen 1:26). As prophesied, Jehovah has permitted a dulling of the spiritual sensibilities of the Jews. (Rom 11:7,8).

It is because of the rebellious disposition of the Jews of past generations that "God has shut them all up together in disobedience, that He might show all of them mercy" so lifting the "veil" that has caused their partial spiritual 'blindness' until now. (Rom 11:32. 2 Cor 3:13 to 4:5).

Because of the rebelliousness handed down by their Jewish forefathers, God knew that such disobedience could stumble people of the nations from being created in the spirit "image" and "likeness" of God and His Son The Christ; thereby stumbling Gentiles from "being transformed into the same likeness as Himself". (2 Cor 3:18 Moffatt). And, as Jehovah God and His Son are Spirit, that "likeness" is a Spirit "likeness", not a fleshly one. (John 4:23,24).

After gathering the full number of people of the nations (Gentiles), Jehovah has promised that the Jews will have their sins taken away by Him. (Rom 11:27). The mercy of Jehovah is being extended to them because the sins of their forefathers are the cause of Jewish descendants having the "veil" of blunted spirit sensibilities concerning The Christ. On account of these handed-down sins of their forefathers, depriving successive generations of the opportunity to be created in spirit, Jehovah will remove this "veil" of ignorance and extend to them His mercy and love.

"For I do not want you, brothers, to be ignorant of this sacred secret, in order for you not to be discreet in your own eyes: that a dulling of sensibilities has happened in part to Israel until the full number of people of the nations has come in, and in this manner all Israel will be saved. Just as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion and turn away unGodly practices from Jacob. And this is the covenant on My part with them, when I take their sins away." True, with reference to the good news they are enemies for your sakes, but with reference to God's choosing they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are not things He will regret. For just as you were once disobedient to God but have now been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so also these now have been disobedient with mercy resulting to you, that they themselves also may now be shown mercy. For God has shut them all up together in disobedience, that He might show all of them mercy." (Rom 11:25-32).
