SO WHO IS THE REAL "KING OF BABYLON"?

QUESTIONS:

(1)
The "king of Babylon" of Isaiah 14:4 began when?

(2)
How or in what ways will he come to a stop?

(3)
Why will those "seeing" him (identifying him) say:
"Is this the man that was agitating the earth"? (14:16).

(4)
How or in what ways has he been "striking peoples in fury with a stroke incessantly"
and "subduing nations in sheer anger with a persecution without restraint"? (14:6).

The spirit creature that undertook a course of opposition and resistance to God was given the title (in Hebrew): sa.tan' [usually accompanied by the definite article ho; Gk, sa.ta.nas'; resister, adversary]. This creature "did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him." (John 8:44). One of the reasons why the Son of God Jesus Christ was made manifest on earth was "to break up the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8). One's spirit creation through The Christ is according to the perfect Will and purpose of God.

Bab'y.lon [confusion] was founded by the man Nimrod. It was the first known capitol and political empire of world tyranny, later under the control of the Assyrian empire. Ancient Babylon had over fifty temples in opposition to Jehovah the One True God. Magic, sorcery and astrology have played a prominent part in the sectarian religions of Babylon. (Isaiah 47:12,13. Dan 2:27 & 4:7. Jer 50:1,2 & 38).

The Christ through the apostle John described "Babylon the great" as "the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth." (Rev 17:5. 14:8. 16:19. 17:16. 18:10). In Babylonian folklore, Nimrod is described as the 'father of the gods'. Evil spirits deceiving all the nations are demons (fallen angels). (2 Peter 2:4) (Rev 12:7-9). The "dragon" satan of Revelation 12:7 is also lu'cifer the "shining one" of Isaiah 14:12, who together with his demon followers are the deceivers of all peoples, including the deified kings of "Babylon the great". (See Dan 4:30). "Babylon" is the world empire of sectarian worship carried by political regimes of the symbolically described "wild beast" that they admire. (Rev 13:1-18).

Those with the "mark" of the political "wild beast" operate under demonic influence, organize themselves into governments of oppression, and demonstrate their rebellion against the Spirit creative work of God among His people. They use imposed economic necessity and specious arguments to drive people of God to work at preoccupations designed to hinder the Spirit creative process within them. But these satanic attempts are doomed to fail, hence Jehovah's name for it: "Dragon Do-nothing". (Isaiah 30:7 Moffatt). So to ministers of satan and prominent members of the "wild beast" it can be said: "Is this the man (or woman) that was agitating the earth"? "the one striking peoples in fury with a stroke incessantly, the one subduing nations in sheer anger with a persecution without restraint"? (14:16,6). Throughout the earth the following words of prophecy are to be fulfilled:

THE PURPOSE OF SATAN:

TO PROVE GOD A LIAR BY
FABRICATIONS AND LIFE
SQUANDERING WORKS TO
THWART THE GODLY
SPIRIT CREATION OF MAN.

"DRIVING OTHERS
TO WORK".

ARE YOU BEING DRIVEN
TO UNGODLY WORKS?

TO SATAN'S FOLLOWERS:

"All other kings of the nations… have lain down in glory, each one in his own house. But as for you, you have been thrown away without a burial place for you, like a detested sprout… you killed your own people… "Make ready, you men, a slaughtering block for his own sons because of the error of their forefathers" "And I will cut off from Babylon name and remnant and progeny and posterity," is the utterance of Jehovah". (14:18-22).

THE PURPOSE OF GOD:

TO CREATE THE SPIRITS OF
MEN TO BECOME LIKE THE
CHRIST THROUGH THEIR
EXERCISE OF FREE WILL.

TO BE MINDFUL OF THE
NEED TO PERFORM WORKS
BEFITTING REPENTANCE
ACCORDING TO FAITH.
THIS IS THE BASIS OF A
RIGHTEOUS LIFE OF PEACE
AND GODLY DEVOTION.
