  THE CHRIST MICHAEL WILL:
"TAUNT THEM WITH THEIR EVIL PLOTTINGS"
"AND THE TORTURES THEY ARE SOON TO ENDURE."

(2 Esdras 13:1-38 NEB).

Prophesied calamities are occurring with greater frequency. Taunting of enemies of God by the Messiah (The Christ Michael) with literal flame is an advanced warning of the torments that will follow the deaths of contemptuous ones engaged in "evil plottings" among mankind. (9:9 12 NEB). By this means evil ones located "wherever he turned his eyes" are being destroyed by means of the Law of God. (13:3,4 & 13:38 NEB). But despite witnessing evidence of his taunting, mankind refuses to take warning and stop their evil course, just as it is written: "What will men do then, in the face of calamity? Famine and plague, suffering and hardship, are scourges sent to teach men better ways. But even so they will not abandon their crimes, nor keep in mind their scourging." (16:19,20 NEB). Instead, such warring natures defiantly gather to wage war against the Messiah The Christ Michael. "Then I saw that all who had gathered to wage war against the man were filled with fear, and yet they dared to fight against him." (13:8 NEB). So "he will destroy them without effort by means of the Law     and that is like the fire." (13:38 NEB).

These evil plotters administer dispiriting measures against the spiritual lives of God's people. In their fabrication of unjust laws they wrest away justice from the afflicted and lowly ones of God to destroy their faith in Him. (Isaiah 10:1,2). So  The Christ Michael will destroy these enemies by the perfect Spirit Law of God. And "the very person from whom the danger will then come (The Christ Michael) will protect in danger those who have works and fidelity laid up to their credit with the Most High. You may be assured that those who survive are more highly blessed than those who die."  (13:23,24 NEB).

It is important to note that while the warnings of flame described on Page 22/11/87A (with more to follow) may seem indiscriminate, they have one important feature in common: That they fall "on the host advancing to join battle, and  burnt up every man of them... leaving nothing but dust and ashes and a reek of smoke."  (13:11 NEB).

Will bereaved survivors of these calamities still dare to disregard their fear of these fiery warnings and continue to war against The Christ Michael, to be destroyed by means of the Law of God, with tortures to follow?  Or will they subject themselves to His Spirit Law administered through The Christ Michael and the holy ones of "Mount Zion"?  (13:35,36 NEB).
