NATIONS "TO HONOUR THE PLACE WHERE
SPIRIT ANOINTED SONS OF GOD ARE THE "CITY".
THOSE OF THE "CITY" ARE "BIG TREES OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS."
WHY THESE EVENTS HAVE YET TO BE FULFILLED. In Isaiah 62:6-9 sons of Zion are urged: "You who are making mention of Jehovah, let there be no silence on your part, and do not give Him any silence until He fixes solidly, yes, until He sets Jerusalem as a praise in the earth." But only "the very ones gathering" the true Spirit teachings of His Holy Word will drink the "new wine" for which they have toiled. No more will spiritual Mount Zion be called "Forsaken" and "Desolate", but they shall be called "Hephzi-bah" (My Delight is in her) and their spiritual "land" "Beulah" (Wedded). (62:4,5 NEB). Anointed "sons of the oil" of Zion are the "big trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, for Him to be beautified." (61:3. Zech 4:14 Large Print NWT footnote). Concerning the "City" of heavenly "Jerusalem" it is written: "And the nations will certainly see your righteousness, O woman, and all kings your glory". (62:2). Jehovah has sworn: "I will no more give your grain as food to your enemies, nor will foreigners drink your new wine, for which you have toiled." (62:8). This means that during the period of their mourning over Zion, when His beloved people were excluded and sent into a spiritual "wilderness", Jehovah has been sanctifying this people wedded to His Name! (62:4,5 NEB). No longer will their "grain" and "new wine" be given over to their enemies. Jehovah will cherish and feed His chosen people with no more bitter after-effects! (Joel 2:24. Rev 10:10).
"The offspring
made up of the chosen ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them"
will receive Spirit knowledge in advance of its need. (65:23,24). Jehovah
will not only listen to their prayers, but He will also listen to their
appropriate thoughts. When they call upon Him, in Spirit He will answer them.
This will be the "new wine" given to His Spirit anointed chosen
ones and their offspring, but cut off from their enemies. (30:19 (Cont. on Page 10/11/88).
