WE ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS THE
INDIGNATION OF GOD WORLDWIDE.
"Wait for Me, therefore, says
the Lord, wait for the day when I stand up to accuse you; for Mine it is to
gather nations and assemble kingdoms, to pour out on them
My indignation, all the heat of My anger; the whole earth shall be consumed by
the fire of My jealousy."
(Zeph 3:8 NEB).
WHY ALMIGHTY GOD IS GATHERING THE NATIONS.
Because of the jealousy
Almighty God has for His people and His Kingdom, and because He is about to
begin His Rule, enemies of Spirit Zion are to be swept away. (3:15
NEB).
His Rule will begin with the removal of all enemies of Zion by "the heat
of My anger". (3:8
NEB).
While there is no element of surprise or secrecy to His servants over the
gathering of enemy nations, our Lord will come "as a thief" to the
vast majority of unenlightened ones who are unaware that this worldwide
gathering is for God to express His wrath upon
them. (Rev 16:15). Although
our Lord has issued many warnings and scourges worldwide concerning the
activities of those offending Him, He does not intend to scourge offenders
indefinitely. (2 Esdras 16:19,20 NEB).
Instead, at His appointed time, all "proud and arrogant citizens"
of "Babylon" falsely claiming to be members of spiritual
"Jerusalem" will be swept to their deaths by the "besom of
destruction" during the "day of the vengeance of our God". (3:11 NEB).
It will begin with the "single hour" that is the "hour of
test".

18:10 & 3:10 NWT).
As to who belongs to spiritual
"Jerusalem" it is written: "...you shall not be put to shame
for all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; for then I will rid
you of your proud and arrogant citizens". (3:11 NEB).
Many "proud and arrogant" ones will perish. Only a people
"humble and lowly" shall survive and rejoice that the jealousy of God
for His beloved people has rid them of their adversaries. (3:14,15
NEB).
THE "GREAT SUPPER" OF GOD IS IMMINENT.
All who give their
support to Godless political regimes of the "wild beast" and have
the symbolic "mark" 666 are about to perish. (Rev 13:16-18 &
19:17-21 NEB).
The "dragon" satan and those to whom he has given his authority to
rule via political systems of the "wild beast" will be taken
prisoner by our Lord, as will those giving wholehearted support to charities and
aid agencies of the "false prophet". (Rev 13:4. 19:20 NEB).
Kings, commanders, fighting men and their armies will also perish. (Rev 19:18
NEB). The "dragon"
satan and his demon accomplices will be abyssed for a thousand years and will
not be able to mislead the nations during that time. After the thousand years
are ended, apostate adversaries will again surround the camp of God's people.
(Rev 20:1-3) (Rev 20:7-10 NEB).
THE JUDGEMENT UPON "BABYLON" APPROACHES. (Rev
18:10).
Currently, kings and
merchants of the earth are mourning the loss of trade with Babylon (Iraq)
because of the siege laid against her. But when in a "single hour"
the doom upon "Babylon" strikes worldwide, it shall be said,
"Alas that in one hour so much wealth should be laid waste!"
(Rev 18:10,17 NEB).
Following the principle of Ezekiel 4:6 (NEB)
that, "I count one day for every year", a "single
hour" is 15 days (one year ÷ 24 = 15 days). Fifteen days is the
period during which the Judgement of God will strike "Babylon".
(Rev 18:10). But the "plagues" upon Babylon of
"pestilence, bereavement, famine, and burning" will continue for a whole
year (i.e. one "day").
