"FROM THIS DAY I SHALL BESTOW BLESSING".
(Haggai 2:19).

FROM WHAT "DAY" WILL THE "BLESSING" BEGIN?
It will begin from the very day that there is spiritual fruitage "borne" among worshippers at the "later house" of God. (Haggai 2:9). This fruitage was not evident among the Jews at the time Haggai spoke to the priests not even grain. (2:12-19. Deut 8:8). The glory of the "later house" will be greater.

It will be "From this day", when Jehovah is "rocking the heavens and the earth", that He will certainly set His servant* "as a seal ring, because you are the one whom I have chosen". (2:6 NEB. * Matt 12:18). This one must be a descendant of the man Zerubbabel who led a Jewish remnant back to Jerusalem and Judah. (2:21 23. Ezra 2:1,2).

The one* referred to is further described in Isaiah 10:33,34: "Look! The true Lord, Jehovah of armies, is lopping off boughs with a terrible crash; and those tall in growth are being cut down, and the high ones themselves become low. And He has struck down the thickets of the forest with an iron tool, and by a powerful one Lebanon itself will fall." The "iron tool" is the "sickle", a reaping instrument for "lopping off boughs" ("high ones"). (Rev 14:18,19). Though highly exalted, the unGodly will "become low", for the "powerful one" is The Christ Michael cutting down the "high ones".

The Christ Michael "has gone up as a lion out of his thicket, and the one who is bringing the nations to ruin has pulled away; he has gone forth from his place in order to render your land as an object of astonishment." (Jer 4:7). The "thicket" is the Leo constellation.

"And it must occur in that day that Jehovah will again offer His hand, a second time, to acquire the remnant of His people". (See Isaiah 11:11,12). The spiritual grafting in of the Jews is next to take place. (Rom 11:23,24). Jehovah will hide His people from His Judgement of mankind. (Isaiah 26:20,21). Highly exalted ones are the "boughs" that Jehovah will be "lopping off" with a terrible crash.
