SOON THE JEWS WILL SPIRITUALLY "SEE" !
The Jewish people have never lacked
resourcefulness. They have proven successful in almost every field of endeavour,
with the exception of spiritual perception and obedience to the Will of God.
Because of their defiance, the Lord has dulled their sensibilities until they
are stirred to emulate "a nation that is no nation". (Rom 11:7
REMOVING "STUMBLING BLOCKS" TO SAVE JEWS THROUGH
ENVY. The Jews have an excessive preoccupation with ritualistic observances such as those over foods ("their table" (1)), so much so that they have become a snare and a trap to their spiritual growth. (Rom 11:9,10 NEB). Even though many Jews obey the Mosaic Law as regards food consumption, righteousness cannot be attained merely by such observances. Some even "bow down (2) their backs unceasingly" to an old city wall to pray! But the time is fast approaching for a Jewish remnant to be saved. As it is written: "...this partial blindness has come upon Israel only until the Gentiles have been admitted in full strength; when that has happened, the whole of Israel will be saved, in agreement with the text of Scripture: 'From Zion shall come the Deliverer; he shall remove wickedness from Jacob. And this is the covenant I will grant them, when I take away their sins.'" (From Rom 11:25-27 NEB). This cannot take place until their dulled sensibilities are corrected and they can spiritually "see" the "Way of Holiness". (Isaiah 35:8-10).
Only through The Christ can
repentant ones begin the process of spirit reconciliation and have their sins
and the spirit of uncleanness removed. (See Zech 12:10 to 13:2). While many Jews
have an ill-informed zeal for God, they cannot be saved by it. (Rom 10:1-21
NEB).
Only righteousness acquired through active faith according to accurate knowledge
of God can save them Salvation for the Gentiles through The Christ is intended to stir the Jews to emulate them. (Rom 11:11 NEB). And as the "good news" has already come to a finish, they will be gathered out of their fear of calamities from God taking place on earth. (Rev 10:7 & 11:13). For those Jews being saved, "stumbling blocks" such as their isolationist behaviour expressed through "outlandish fashions" and ritual observances must cease. (See Pages 14/1/85A and 14/1/85B).
