THE TRANSFUSION OF BLOOD INTO HUMANS
IS IN CONTRAVENTION OF THE LAW OF GOD.
THE PENALTY.
"For the
soul of the flesh is in the blood... "No soul of you must eat blood and no alien
resident who is residing as an alien in your midst should eat blood." ...For the
soul of every sort of flesh is its blood by the soul in it. Consequently I said
to the sons of Israel: "You must not eat the blood of any sort of flesh,
because the soul of every sort of flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it will be
cut off."
(From Lev 17:11-14).
THE FINAL ADMONITION FROM THE APOSTLES.
"For the
Holy Spirit and we ourselves have favoured adding no further burden to you,
except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to
idols and from blood… If you carefully keep yourselves from these things,
you will prosper."
(Acts 15:28,29).
FREEDOM FROM THE PERSONAL BLOODGUILT OF
OTHERS.
"Hence I
call you to witness this very day that I am clean from the blood of
all men, for I have not held back from telling you all the counsel of
God" (including that
of blood). (Acts 20:26,27). "Hence my decision is not to trouble
those from the nations who are turning to God, but to write them to
abstain from... blood." (Acts 15:19,20).
CHRIST'S BLOOD:
THE "WITNESS BEARER" THAT ATONES FOR OUR SINS.
"For there
are three witness bearers, the Spirit and the water and the
blood, and the three are in agreement."
(1 John 5:5-8). "For the soul of the flesh is in the blood, and I
myself have put it upon the altar for you to make atonement for your souls,
because it is the blood that makes atonement by the soul in it."
(Lev 17:11. See Heb 9:21-28).
VIOLATING GOD'S LAW ON BLOOD
CUTS ONE OFF FROM ETERNAL LIFE.
In cases where
humans give or receive blood transfusion, where the blood of one human is
transfused into the body of another, this very act cuts them off from God for
the reason He gave: "because it is the
blood that makes
atonement by the soul in it... Anyone eating it will be cut off."
The blood of a sinner transfused into another does not make atonement for
the sins of the recipient. Given the principle that "unless blood is
poured out no forgiveness takes place" and that "Christ was
offered once for all time to bear the sins of many", the sinner whose
blood is poured out on behalf of another by transfusion is acting in place
of Christ, and the recipient of the sinner's blood is prohibited from
having his own sins atoned for by The Christ now that the blood of a sinner has
been poured out on his behalf. Therefore, they and their prayers to God are cut
off. (Heb 9:22,28).
Whether blood is transfused through
the skin, or ingested via the mouth, it eventually reaches the bloodstream and
other parts of the body. It is in this way consumed in contravention of the
unchangeable Law of the Giver of all life, Almighty God. The ingesting of the
blood of others ruins lives. The consequences of showing contempt for the Law of God has already been made manifest through diseases transmitted via blood
transfusion and sexual perversion: A.I.D.S., SYPHILIS, MALARIA,
HEPATITIS etc. All these have been transmitted via blood transfusion. The transplantation of internal organs that contain blood
is also a cause of the
transmission of such diseases. There are alternatives to blood transfusion, such
as the plasma expander Saline.
As animal blood taken orally is in
violation of the Law of God, how much more so when blood from one human is
transfused into another? How can atonement for such individuals possibly be
made? Those who violate the Law of God shall stand before the awesome
presence and Judgement of God.
