THE FULFILMENT OF JEREMIAH 31:10-40.
Because of the spirit of
uncleanness among their false "prophets", their dungy "idols"
and "intense lovers", with each laying claim to the spiritual
"land" of God, Jehovah has been watching those falsely calling
themselves Jehovah's Witnesses with the intent to "pull down and to
uproot, to demolish and destroy". (Jer 31:28 NEB)
(Zech 13:2 Jehovah is about to effect long-awaited changes. His Spirit will be one of building up in the spiritual "land" of His people, while at the same time holding to account those who promote apostate teachings handed down by those who swallowed down the "early fig" (premature and spiritistic false teaching of the Word of God). (Isaiah 28:4) (Zech 13:2-6). Whether or not those alive today are the first to have propagated these apostate teachings, or are those who continue to uphold them, "it will be each one for his own error that one will die. Any man eating the unripe grape, his will be the teeth that will be set on edge" as by the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement they begin "wasting with sickness, yet overflowing with righteousness" as prophesied. (Jer 31:30) (Isaiah 10:22,23 NEB & footnote).
JEHOVAH WILL "SATURATE THE TIRED SOUL". These "tired" and "languishing" souls are His people that have suffered enfeebling and demoralizing spirit conditions, and have witnessed the Spirit "seed" in them being "trampled" on by their enemies. But when their spiritual "land" has been saturated with the knowledge of Jehovah, He will give new spirit vitality to His people. No more will it be necessary for "brothers" of faith to be taught His Spirit Law, for Jehovah is writing them in their hearts so that they all know Him. Our past sins during the period of our spirit development will be forgiven and remembered no more. (31:34). The City of God shall be rebuilt among men, and "It shall never again be pulled down or demolished." (31:40 NEB). "Listen to the word of the Lord, you nations, announce it, make it known to coasts and islands far away: He who scattered Israel shall gather them again and watch over them as a shepherd watches his flock. For the Lord has ransomed Jacob and redeemed him... I will turn their mourning into gladness, I will relent and give them joy to outdo their sorrow." (From 31:10-14 NEB).
