ONE OF THE ORIGINS OF ERRONEOUS TEACHINGS TODAY.

ON RESURRECTIONS.

LIFTING ONE OF THE MANY "VEILS" ENVELOPING SECTARIAN RELIGION.
It has proved tedious for some, and spiritually destructive for others, to research the works of sectarian authors of the past and discover the uninspired guesswork woven into their erroneous explanations of the Holy Word of  God. Sadly, since then, many have set themselves up as religious leaders over the masses and established erroneous doctrines for others to follow based upon the fabrications of these uninspired authors. By basing their doctrines on unscriptural deviations, these religious leaders have gained many followers.  (2 Tim 4:3,4).

Although we are advised to prove for ourselves the fine and acceptable Will of God, to teach others by means of guesswork is not carrying out the Will of God. (Rom 12:2). As was written by Holy Spirit: "Alas for the world that such causes of stumbling arise! Come they must, but woe betide the man through whom they come!"  (Matt 18:7 NEB).

WOE BETIDE THE PRESUMPTUOUS
GUESSWORK OF ONE ORIGINATOR: AUGUSTINE.
As a consequence of unauthorized error from men such as Augustine, many religions teach that when humans die they will be resurrected to life back on earth, in the form of their original body, but with former imperfections removed (whatever that may mean). This, however, is untrue, for the Scriptures do not teach  this. In his writings, Augustine maintained  that even though a human may die and be eaten by wild animals or by another human (cannibalism), that God would gather all the parts of their bodies back together in the resurrection; erroneously applying the metaphor 'not a hair of your head will perish' as the basis of his argument.  (Luke 21:18).

By inspiration from God I have already correctly explained the true understanding concerning resurrection, that there are to be no resurrections of humankind back to life on earth.  (See Subject Index: Resurrection).  But with reference to Augustine's presumptions as they are taught today, I will say this: The parts of those humans that he maintains would be collected from the wild animals or cannibals that ate them, to be returned to their former owners at resurrection, would of course mean they had passed through the intestinal tracts of those creatures, and so would therefore (if  it  were  true)  come from their excrement!  One may ask, what harm has Augustine's speculations done?  This:  Over the years it has given licence for people to entertain a number of speculations, errors which have subsequently been added to and become the established doctrine and Godless hope of millions!  Only the spiritually immature would desire life in the flesh again.  (See: 'City of God' by Augustine. Bk. XXII. Ch.19 & 20).

ONLY THE GOOD SOWN IN ONE'S SPIRIT WILL
BE RESURRECTED INTO A NEW SPIRIT BODY.
"But, you may ask, how are the dead raised? In what kind of body? How foolish! The seed you sow does not come to life unless it has first died; and what you sow is not the body that shall be, but a naked grain... So  it  is with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown in the earth as a perishable thing is raised imperishable... sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body."  (From 1 Cor 15:35-44 NEB & NWT).

Therefore, Jehovah God will resurrect only that which people have sown of the Spirit in this life. For those acceptable to God this will be a resurrection into a heavenly spirit body, according to the good that was sown in one's spirit nature in this life. (1 Cor 15:49). There is no mention in the Scriptures of resurrections of human flesh. Moreover, it is inconceivable that after death a man would choose to return to the misery of his former suffering body as his final home.
