LAWLESS ONES BECAUSE OF NOT HAVING
THE "LOVE OF THE TRUTH". (2 Thess 2:10).
PROOF THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE LOVE OF THE
TRUTH.
Having the truth
administered against one's error can sometimes hurt deeply, and may continue to
do so until one repents of that sin and accepts that it is an offence before God
that must be corrected according to His Word. Those who have love of the truth
endure such spirit readjustment, and it bears good fruit in them. (Heb 12:7 11).
Correction of lesser errors on the way to one's spirit sanctification is easier
for those exercising true faith. But those scripturally described as
"lawless" prescribe boundaries for themselves and so prove
unduly sensitive to the merest suggestion of their need for spirit correction.
A common feature of the
self-prescribed boundaries of lawless ones, barring access to the "Way of
Holiness", is their desire to be objects of admiration and prominence
among others (to be treated as godlike), and their jealousy. Their desire for
prominence was made manifest when they sought to exercise authority over
anointed sons of God sealed with Holy Spirit over
those who through an anointing have God-given authority from The Christ to
administer the "Way" of spirit sanctification for salvation. (1
John 2:27).
Lawless ones that make up the
composite "man of lawlessness" had been undergoing apostate
development long before their final revealing during the "appointed times".
(2 Thess 2:3-7). Through apostate teachings this composite "man"
inspired congregation members to give glory to them, and
received preferential treatment from those upon whom they bestowed favour.
To achieve their ambition, they gave women certain allowances, disregarding the
Lord's commandment of 1 Corinthians 14:33-37. They gave allowance for women to
speak, to teach and to prophesy, anywhere and to anyone, and in spiritual
matters to domineer over men, even over anointed ones! (1 Tim 2:11-15)
(Rev 2:20 23). Consequently, in the minds of their admirers these lawless men
effectively sit in the temple of God publicly showing themselves to be gods !
And by their apostate changes to the "times and Law" of God, they
lift themselves above God Himself
! (2:4. Dan 7:25).
They
not only removed the "constant feature" Holy Spirit (bestowed upon
anointed sons of God to administer the Spirit of truth) by shifting their
congregational responsibilities from them, but they also ostracized and
excommunicated them, and seated themselves in their place !
(Dan 11:30 32. Isaiah 66:5). Although the
failure of their "lying signs and portents" and "miracles of
the Lie" began to expose their apostasy against the Spirit of truth, the
"mystery of this lawlessness" only became known publicly after
they had shifted the responsibilities of anointed ones and excommunicated them.
(2 Thess 2:7-10 NWT & NEB).
The 1975 Yearbook of the
sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses reveals the
dates of their
'shifting'
of congregational responsibilities from anointed sons of God and their
subsequent removal of the "constant feature" (Holy Spirit) during
the "appointed times". (See Pages 841 and
24/12/87 of the "Little Scroll").
NOW INDEED THE LAWLESS ONES HAVE
BEEN REVEALED, WHOM THE
LORD JESUS WILL DO AWAY WITH BY THE SPIRIT OF HIS MOUTH
AND
BRING TO NOTHING BY THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS PRESENCE.
