SELF-SCRUTINY  BEFORE  PARTAKING  OR
OBSERVING AT THE LORD'S EVENING MEAL.

Before reading further, please read 1 Corinthians 11:23-32.

After having read 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 we should scrutinize ourselves and ask: Is there superfluous badness in our spirits revealed by our words or deeds that proves we are living in contradiction of:

(1) Any of The Christ's teachings?  (2 John V.9).
(2) The "new covenant"?  (Luke 22:19,20).
(3) Members of the anointed "body" of The Christ?  (1 Cor 12:12,13).

If after having received accurate knowledge of God one is in opposition, what purpose would be served in one's attendance at the Lord's evening meal?  For this symbolic meal primarily concerns the spiritual development of anointed priests of the Kingdom of God by His High priest, The Christ. If anyone attends this meal with an opposing spirit, which only causes division, one will most certainly fall under the Judgement of God sometime after this meal and before the next. It is therefore wise to place oneself under scrutiny as to whether one should attend or not.

After the apostle Paul had finished setting matters straight regarding men and women under the headship arrangement, he then gave reasons why there were divisions among the Corinthian congregation at that time. (11:1-22). He used this congregation and the divisions existing among them as an object lesson to warn against such behaviour among future congregation members who meet to partake, or to observe, the Lord's evening meal. For this meal is not solely to review the spiritual development of The Christ's new Kingdom of 144,000 anointed priests by the requirements of the Lord's "new covenant". It also reminds us of the consequences of the Judgement of God upon those who partake unworthily and those who observe unworthily. Mistreatment of any members of The Christ's "body" will most certainly incur the adverse Judgement of God.  Divisions in a congregation reveal and separate those whom God approves from those He  does  not.  This meal then, refines.  (11:19).

JEHOVAH SEES THE ACTIVITIES OF DISAPPROVED ONES.
Divisions and the cunning means employed to cause them are numerous. They are contrived and actively encouraged by those with such malevolent dispositions as jealousy, selfish ambition, contentiousness, apostasy, etc.  All these are hindrances to the Kingdom developments of our Lord. Those who behave in such ways are only commemorating the  evening meal of our Lord to receive adverse Judgement from God. Those who sin against members of the "body" of  Christ in a less serious way may receive corrective discipline from Jehovah that they may not become "condemned with the world".  But they must stop sinning, or be removed during the following year.  (11:32).

This meal then, symbolizes a covenant of loving unity between The Christ Michael and his anointed brothers.  Those who have been sinning against them will either be corrected, or shall be refined out from their association.
