CONCERNING THE MULTINATIONAL
FORCE IN THE UNIVERSAL WAR.

UNDERSTANDING THEIR NAMES AND ORIGIN.
When our Lord Jehovah prophesied concerning future events, He used the names of people and places of the ancient past that would typify people, places and events in the last days of this "Esau" age. By bearing this in mind, those with a limited knowledge of the Word of God will find it easier to identify these events and those involved in them.

For example: After the universal war against Gog, our Lord Jehovah has prophesied, "Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and show My affection for all Israel, and I will be jealous for My Holy Name." (Ezek 39:25 NEB).

Jacob was a man who had a love for spiritual things and was loved by God. This reference to "Jacob" is in regard to people of God on earth who have the same spirit disposition as this son of Isaac. Jehovah uses "Jacob" to typify His spiritual nation on earth; particularly after He forgives the remnant of the Jews He intends to gather from all nations into the land of spiritual "Israel": "They shall forget their shame and all their unfaithfulness to Me, when they are at home again on their own soil, undisturbed, with no one to alarm them. When I bring them home out of the nations and gather them from the lands of their enemies, I will make them an example of My holiness, for many nations to see." (39:26,27 NEB).

Another example of ancient names may be found in Ezekiel 38:5,6. Ancient Persia is Iran today. Cush is the ancient name of modern-day Ethiopia. Put was a son of Ham, many of whose descendants live in Libya today. Togarmah was a son of Gomer, the son of Japheth. Research indicates that among people of Gomer are Celts (Gael in Ireland and Scotland, Cymry in Wales). People with ancestry dating back to ancient Persia, Ethiopia, Put, Gomer, the house of Togarmah and all its bands, will soon attack those living in new settlements occupying "open rural country" in Israel. (38:11).

Regarding people of "Jacob" whom the Sovereign Lord Jehovah sent into exile: "They will know that I am the Lord their God, because I who sent them into exile among the nations will bring them together again on the soil of their own land and leave none of them behind. No longer will I hide My face from them, I who have poured out My Spirit upon Israel. This is the very word of the Lord God." (39:28,29 NEB).

The awe-inspiring events about to break out worldwide are to magnify and glorify the Name and Sanctity of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah before all the nations: I will summon universal terror against Gog, says the Lord God, and his men shall turn their swords against one another. I will bring him to Judgement with pestilence and bloodshed; I will pour down teeming rain, hailstones hard as rock, and fire and brimstone, upon him, upon his squadrons, upon the whole concourse of peoples with him. Thus will I prove Myself great and holy and make Myself known to many nations; they shall know that I am the Lord." (38:21 23 NEB).

For the surviving remnant of natural born Jews to return to Jehovah, they will have need of "the way and the truth and the life" through The Christ Michael. (John 14:6).
