AFTER CATCHING SIGHT OF THE "DISGUSTING THING"
IT WILL BE LIKE THE "DAYS OF NOAH". (Matthew 24:15).

"There was a time when one man had power over another and could make him suffer. It was then that I saw wicked men approaching and even entering the holy place; and they went about the city priding themselves on having done right. This too is emptiness. It is because sentence upon a wicked act is not promptly carried out that men do evil so boldly."  (Eccles 8:9 11 NEB).

The usurpers in JW congregations today that have entered the holy place are called the "disgusting thing… standing in a holy place". (Matt 24:15). Without spiritual knowledge according to an anointing from God, these usurpers of the authority of faithful anointed ones have fulfilled the scripture: "Then, if anyone says to you, 'Look! Here is the Christ,' or, 'There!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will arise  and  will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones."  ("if such a thing were possible". NEB).  (Matt 24:23,24).

TIME OF TROUBLES TO BE CUT SHORT ON ACCOUNT OF GOD'S CHOSEN ONES.
"And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape
(will be saved), every one who is found written down in the book." (Dan 12:1). But "unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short." (Matt 24:22). Those days will be cut short because continuing Spirit knowledge is essential for the spiritual growth of chosen ones of God     something that would not be possible if this "time of distress" were not cut short.

DAYS LIKENED TO THE "DAYS OF NOAH".  (Matt 24:37).
"These days recall for Me the days of Noah: as I swore that the waters of Noah's flood should never again pour over the earth, so now I swear to you never again to be angry with you or reproach you."  (Isaiah 54:9 NEB).  These words are addressed to His faithful servants.

But with reference to the Godless today it will be just as it was in Noah's days: "and they knew nothing until the flood* came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes."  (Matt 24:39 NEB). There will be a flood, but it will not be of water. It will be an exterminating Spirit "floodof righteousness" that will sweep away the Godless. (Isaiah 10:22,23.  See NEB footnote). The "Little Scroll" contains warnings similar to those given by Noah to which people are again refusing to listen. And  the door of the "ark" will not be opened until after the coming "flood of righteousness" is over.  (Rev 11:19).

The final outpouring of the wrath of God according to the revelation to John to be poured out "upon the air" should be causing great concern among the nations. (Rev 16:17). But the majority of mankind are doing nothing about their spirit condition before this last "bowl" is poured out. In order of fulfilment, the destruction of the wicked flooded away by the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement, and the Sovereign Rule of God over the earth, is imminent.  That is when Jehovah will give recompense to His faithful servants.  (Rev 11:15-19).
