FEAR OF ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVAH.

FOR THOSE REMAINING OVER WHO WARRED AGAINST HIM.

The ignorant and rebellious do not fear God. But the fear God inspires in His faithful servants serves to prevent them from sinning against the Way of The Christ, which for those redeemed shall become the "Way of Holiness".  (Isaiah 35:8-10). We need to know how to be accepted by God that we may benefit from His goodness;  progressively being freed from sin through our obedience to His Holy Word and our fear of sinning against Him.  (Heb 12:28,29).

Jehovah God is Spirit, and the apostle Paul listed the harvest of an obedient spirit: "The harvest of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness, and self-control." (Gal 5:22 NEB). Anyone who hates and wars against those manifesting such Godly qualities is sinning against God.  (Rom 1:28-32).

Essentially then, before one can begin to fear God, one must accept in one's heart the Spirit knowledge that Jehovah has provided through The Word (The Christ Michael) recorded in Holy Scripture. (John 1:1-5). This Divine knowledge was written down by His prophets, apostles and other Spirit anointed ones by inspiration from God. When we understand and have full confidence in this knowledge being the truth from God, we must accept the reproof this Spirit of Truth administers through The Word for our spiritual growth, and make the necessary spirit readjustments in our lives.  (Eph 4:11-14).

But to those who choose to remain in ignorance and rebel against the Spirit of Truth, the Wisdom of God replies: "When they call upon me, I will not answer them; when they search for me, they shall not find me. Because they hate knowledge and have not chosen to fear the Lord, because they have not accepted my counsel and have spurned all my reproof,* they shall eat the fruits of their behaviour and have a surfeit of their own devices... My son, if you take my words to heart… then you will understand the fear of the Lord and attain to the knowledge of God".  (From Prov 1:28 to 2:8 NEB).

One who fears the Lord and obeys Him turns away from evil. (Prov 3:7 NEB). Without reproof, one cannot become a "new creation" and inherit immortality. (2 Cor 5:17). Why?  Because corrupted spirits of mankind are not permitted to inherit immortality.  (1 Cor 15:42-49 & 53).

It is written in the book of Zechariah: "And it must occur that, as regards everyone who is left remaining out of all the nations that are coming against (spiritual) Jerusalem, they must also go up from year to year to bow down to the King, Jehovah of armies, and to celebrate the festival of the booths. And it must occur that, as regards anyone that does not come up out of the families of the earth to (spiritual) Jerusalem to bow down  to the King, Jehovah of armies, even upon them no pouring rain will occur." (Zech 14:16,17). These festivals of booths are where people in Godly fear will be taught righteous principles and offer up their spirit sacrifices to Almighty God Jehovah.

* REPROOF:  A rebuke or an expression of blame.
