MINISTERING THE "GOOD NEWS". (WOMEN).

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one [person] in union with Christ Jesus. Moreover, if you belong to Christ, you are really Abraham's seed, heirs with reference to a promise." (Gal 3:28,29). But while a woman may be of Abraham's seed "in union with Christ Jesus", it is not possible for a woman to be of the "seed" of God's heavenly "woman"      for this "seed" are the 144,000 Spirit begotten sons of God.  (Gal 4:4-7.  Rev 19:7,8)  (1 Cor 12:13).

Woman's place in the arrangement of God has been incorrectly explained in the publications 'Then is Finished the Mystery of God' (Pg. 233) and 'Aid to Bible Understanding' (Pg. 726) ('Woman's Place') stating: '…if a woman prays or prophesies in the congregation, occupying a position God has assigned to the man, she should have on a head covering. In temporarily doing these things because no dedicated male Christian is present to do them…'  But  the unchangeable instruction from our Lord is that there is no provision for women under any circumstances to be allowed to even speak in a congregation. As it is written: "As in all the congregations of the holy ones, let the women keep silent in the congregations".  (1 Cor 14:34,37).

In relation to men and women, 1 Corinthians 11:3 of the Greek Interlinear Translation says: "head but of woman the male person", referring to all men and women in the general sense and context. (1 Cor 11:3). But the New World Translation incorrectly expresses this scripture as: "the head of a woman is the man", which in the singular tense is incongruous. This scripture describes the family headship arrangement as it should be taught, that the glory of God is man, that man is head of woman, and that woman is man's glory. As to their own families, family male headship has precedence over other baptized males in both the spiritual and fleshly sense. (1 Cor 14:35). Where a woman has no husband, then an anointed brother can lead her about as a sister, but only as to the Lord.  (1 Cor 9:5).

WOMEN FEATURED IN THE SCRIPTURES:

Anna, of the tribe of Asher: There is no indication that she preached the "good news" of The Christ. Prophesying is by direct inspiration from God and is not in itself teaching.  (Luke 2:36-38).

Phoebe was a servant helper and not a minister of the congregation. (See Rom 16:1 Greek Translation and 'Aid to Bible Understanding'  Pg. 1307 & 1308).

Acts 21:8,9: Philip's daughters possessed the gift of prophecy, not teaching.  (NEB).

Joel 2:28,31: This scripture will be fulfilled "before the coming of the great and fear-inspiring of Jehovah."  (See Acts 2:16,17).

The erroneous New World Translation of Psalms 68:11 is not supported by other Bible translations. What the women of that time told as glad tidings is not described, and the "good news" of The Christ had not at that time been revealed.  (See Page 842).

Revelation 19:10 NWT has been incorrectly translated.  (See Page 785 for details).
