"OUTSIDE  ARE  THE  DOGS  AND  THOSE  WHO  PRACTICE  SPIRITISM (1)
AND THE
FORNICATORS (2) AND THE MURDERERS (3) AND THE IDOLATERS (4)
AND
  EVERYONE
LIKING  AND CARRYING  ON  A  LIE (5)." (Revelation 22:15).

Why did our Lord issue his condemnation of them in this way? "Outside" where, are they valued as "dogs"? Revelation 22:14 clearly explains that they are "outside" the Holy "City" and so do not have "authority" to go to the "trees of life". They are unable to "gain entrance into the City by its gates". It means that "dog"-like people are warned of their destiny, that they are only authorized to live in this "system of things", which The Christ refers to as "this darkness". (Eph 2:1,2 & 6:12). Revelation contains information about the "time of the end" of this system. (Rev 1:10). It is therefore prudent to evaluate our lives to ensure we do not share in the deeds and dispositions of "the dogs" "outside", bearing in mind that even dogs eat, drink, sleep, and have senses and a disposition. So do you or those you associate with practice spiritism, fornication, murder, idolatry, or like and carry on a lie?

One should reason on these things by the wisdom that comes from God:  The Holy Scriptures. (22:6,7). He is the One who gives authority to go to the "trees of life", who knows the spiritual changes we must make to obtain that authority through The Christ. The Holy "City" is the incoming heavenly government of God by His Christ over those who have "washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" guiding them to everlasting heavenly spirit life.  (7:14-17).

THE PRACTICES OF THOSE VALUED AS DOGS:

(1) SPIRITISM:  The false belief that the spirits of the dead survive the death of the body and communicate with the living through a person (a medium) susceptible to their influence. Since the dead "are conscious of nothing at all" communication with dead persons is impossible, and God forbade it. (Eccles 9:5,6. Lev 19:31) (Lev 20:6,27) (Deut 18:9 13). To become involved in divination, magic, sorcery, witchcraft and other spiritistic practices of sectarian "Babylon" is forbidden; for they involve communication with evil demon spirits that once inhabited those now dead.  (Acts 19:18-20.  Rev 18:23).

(2) FORNICATION:  Sexual relations by mutual agreement between two persons not married to each other, committed by single, or married persons (adultery). Likewise, those professing to have a spiritual relationship with God but who prove unfaithful and engage in sectarian worship of "Babylon" as friends of the world.  (See James 4:4 NEB)  (Rev 17:1-6.  18:3.  18:8,9).

(3) MURDER:  The unlawful taking of another's life. Murders issue forth from the heart of an individual.  (Matt 15:19.  Mark 7:21.  Rom 1:28-32). Anyone who hates his spiritual brother is considered a manslayer, like Cain. (1 John 3:11-15). Speaking of rich men it says in James 5:5,6 "you have condemned the innocent and murdered him; he offers no resistance."  (NEB).

(4) IDOLATRY:  An idol is an image created to represent one's devotion to a false god. Idolatry is the veneration, love, worship or adoration of an idol. It is usually practiced to a real or supposed higher power, whether it is believed to have an animate existence (as a human or animal god) or is inanimate (a force or lifeless object of nature). Idolatry involves some form, ceremony or ritual.  (Rom 1:18-25. See Pages 864A and 864B exposing worshippers of the "wild beast" and its "image").

(5) LIKING AND CARRYING ON A LIE:  To lie is to make a false statement with the intention of deceiving and/or injuring another. A lie is not always verbal. It may also be expressed in one's actions (i.e.) a person may be living a lie, subjecting themselves to false doctrines. (Matt 23:15). Jehovah God allows an operation of error to go to persons who do not believe the truth but make the Lie their deliberate choice.  (2 Thess 2:9-12 NEB).
