DENUNCIATIONS UPON THE "DISGUSTING THINGS"
(Sent to apostate witnesses)
"THE VERY THING DECIDED UPON" (Dan 9:27 NWT)
(A "flood" of righteous denunciations)

"And upon the wing of disgusting things there will be the one causing desolation; and until an extermination, the very thing decided upon will go pouring out also upon the one lying desolate."  (Daniel 9:27 NWT).

"...till finally the appointed doom falls upon the sacrilegious abomination."  (Dan 9:27 Moffatt).

"and he will assign him his part with the hypocrites. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be."  (Matt 24:51 NWT).

EXPLANATION OF DANIEL 9:27 (NWT):

"Upon the wing":

Sent over distances by apostates. Their demonic means of communication. (See 1975 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses. Pg.250)

"disgusting things":

Apostate teachers and their subordinates.

"the one causing desolation":

The devil satan and those people to whom he apportioned "land". For giving "him (satan) recognition" he makes apostates "abound with glory" for the "price" of harassing and removing the "constant feature" of anointed sons of God. This left congregations bereft of members of the priesthood anointed with Holy Spirit and substituting for The Christ. Usurping them and standing in authority in their place is spiritual desolation.  (See Dan 7:25 and 11:31,39 NWT Moffatt).

"go pouring out":

Spiritual denunciations from God upon opposers of His Kingdom.
"until an extermination":

Until these apostate teachers and their profanations are rooted out.

"also upon the one
   lying desolate":

Also upon the one causing these desolations.

"appointed doom" (Moffatt):

A time appointed by God to reveal those found guilty of the profanation of sacred things and to bring about the Judgement and condemnation of them.

"sacrilegious abomination"
  (
Moffatt):

Robbery or profanation of sacred building, outrage on consecrated person, violation of what is sacred.

"abomination": Loathing, odious or degrading act, an object of disgust.
