THERE WILL BE NO HEAVENLY
AFTERLIFE  FOR  THE  RICH.

"Give orders to those who are rich in the present system of things not to be high minded, and to rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, but on God, who furnishes us all things richly for our enjoyment; to work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be liberal, ready to share, safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life."  (1 Tim 6:17-19).

To get a firm hold on everlasting life one should
be rich in faith and fine works, ready to share.

"Jesus said to his disciples: "Truly I say to you that it will be a difficult thing for a rich man to get into the Kingdom of the heavens. Again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to get through a needle's eye than for a rich man to get into the Kingdom of God."" (Matt 19:23,24). In the Kingdom of God there will be 144,000 Spirit anointed sons of God resurrected to heavenly life who as priests and judges with The Christ shall govern those remaining on earth.  (Rev 5:9,10 & 20:4-6).

It is impossible for a materially rich man to inherit heavenly life.

"But let the lowly brother exult over his exaltation, and the rich one over his humiliation, because like a flower of the vegetation he will pass away. For the sun rises with its burning heat and withers the vegetation, and its flower drops off and the beauty of its outward appearance perishes. So, too, the rich man will fade away in his ways of life."  (James 1:9-11).

Everlasting spirit torments await the materially rich ( the "high" ones) who do not share with the poor (the "lowly" ones) of God's people. The Will of God is to bring low the high one, and to put on high even what is low.  This will bring equality, with no more poor people on earth.  (Ezek 21:26).

AN IMMORAL EXAMPLE OF THE RICH.
Arcadia Group is privately owned by Taveta Investments Ltd, the investment vehicle owned by Sir Philip Green and his family. Last month Philip Green wrote himself a dividend cheque for £1.2 billion, a sum which exceeded by four times the group's actual pre-tax profit of £253m for the year. The cheque was paid to his wife who holds the majority of the shares in the company. As she lives in Monaco this will not be taxed. The interest paid on the money borrowed to pay the dividend (about £45m) will reduce the tax payable on Arcadia's profits by more than half.  (Source: New Statesman).

Salvia Hardy... was jailed for refusing to pay the increase in Council Tax, a matter of a few pounds, and yet the Inland Revenue allows this man to get away with his actions.  (Source: South Wales Argus. Nov 14th 2005).

UK Government ministers award themselves huge pay rises, while continually seeking ways to make the lowest paid still poorer     especially the vulnerable and disabled who are unable to work.  May the Lord God rebuke all these oppressors.

REGARDING WEALTH.
"There is a singular evil here under the sun which I have seen:  a man hoards wealth to his own hurt... What is more, all his days are overshadowed; gnawing anxiety and great vexation are his lot, sickness and resentment."  (See Ecclesiastes 5:13-17 NEB).
