"Every other man puts out the fine wine first, and when people are intoxicated,
the inferior.  You  have  reserved  the  fine  wine  until  now."  (John 2:10).

Symbolically speaking, we are living in the time of the end of satan's system of "darkness". (Eph 6:12).  It is also the period designated for the administration of the "fine wine" of The Christ (1) Michael (2) by Holy Spirit. (John 2:10). It was first imparted to faithful anointed brothers of The Christ under his subjection by Spirit, and is now being made known to disinclined Jews and Gentiles worldwide who for generations have been consuming their own 'wine' of poor quality.

If the requirements of the "fine wine" for refining one's spirit are received, but during the last days of this present system of things one neglects one's spiritual obligations to God until too short a time remains, such "wine" will cause spirit "drunkenness" and bitter after-effects in those partaking of it, and they will reject it as unpalatable to them. Figuratively speaking, most people prefer and are more used to diluted 'wine' of poor quality that places no obligation upon them. They prefer to listen to smooth "ear tickling" words that pacify them, from preachers of their choice; diluting the life giving Word of God through His Christ.  (2 Tim 4:3,4). They choose not to listen to anointed servants of God with the spiritual qualifications.  (1 Tim 3:1-12 & 1 John 2:27).

The after-effects of the now Opened "Little Scroll" in fulfilment of Revelation 10:1-11 is bitter only to those who have not been spiritually readjusted toward sanctification, and have instead delayed, neglected, or rejected their spiritual obligations to the life-giving Spirit of God. God is not partial. Everyone is prompted by His Spirit to worship Him before they are judged.

These are the words from an angel messenger of The Lord:
"Whoever comes safely through and escapes destruction, thanks to his good deeds or the faith he has shown, will survive all the dangers I have foretold and witness the salvation that I shall bring to My land, the country I have marked out from all eternity as My own. Then those who have misused My Law will be taken by surprise; their contempt for it will bring them continual torment. All who in their lifetime failed to acknowledge Me in spite of all the good things I had given them, all who disdained My  Law while freedom still was theirs, who scornfully dismissed the thought of penitence while the way was still open     all these will have to learn the truth through torments after death."  (2 Esdras 9:7-12 NEB).

So why not begin learning the truth now, while enduring the lesser sufferings of this life, and be spiritually readjusted to the "fine wine" of the "Little Scroll" ?
