In consequence of their admissions, I pose two questions:

(1)

As to the child's personal needs and ability, how could total strangers possibly be more beneficial to a child's education than his or her own parents?

(2)

What is the source of the authority that State educators exercise over other people's children, as implied by their phrase 'being academically qualified'?

Order within a community can only be achieved through the practice of good moral principles. By contrast, the fruitage of parents hostile to Godly principles tends to come from State schools. My  own experience of the enforced conformity advocated by unproductive schoolteachers and other self-excusing desk-minders such as L.E.A. officials prepared me for the work of bringing their deception to light. But it did not prepare me for the ostracism my son Peter was to suffer outside school hours by his State-schooled former friends. Here was evidence of the underlying demonic fruitage of parents taught by State schools.

One-to-one learning far outweighs the economic advantages of large classes in State schools. But because of the indolence of parents, State-run schools are considered essential for civil and military recruitment, so that government enforcement agencies of political "goat"-like leaders may continue "driving others to work" at whatever they deem expedient. (Isaiah 14:4). As a full-time academic meddler in the affairs of parents and their children, this was the system Mr. Finney advocated. Forsaking daily interaction with his own children by refusing to teach them himself, he chose to leave his parental obligations to strangers whom he hadn't even vetted!

The origin of the word school is the Greek word sko.le', meaning leisure. That for which leisure was employed was a disputation, lecture, study, learning; and by metonymy: school.  Schooling  was not intended as an enforced arrangement, or to penalize parents for not sending their children to a State institution. Moreover, the expression State education 'or otherwise' as prescribed by the Education Act should not, as now, be applied to home schooling, but should really be applied to State education created by Godless politicians and rebellious parentsfor it is they who reject the Will of their Creator by advocating State-controlled education by strangers instead of educating their own children themselves!
