During my weekly Bible study with her husband, I learned that this former JW 'elder' had left his wife and family, the congregation and the area, to live with another woman. Alas, he was replaced by other apostate 'elders'. And although it was not my intended purpose, I was learning about a certain class of persons; a class whom I now know to be the scripturally described composite "man  of  lawlessness" and "disgusting thing" "standing (in authority) in a holy  place." (18)  But  some years were yet to pass before it dawned upon me that I was "the restraint" that was being used to publicly expose them in fulfilment of the scripture. (18)

It was in 1971 that the sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses put in place their seemingly innocent new 'congregational arrangement' worldwide (details of which are published in their 1975 Yearbook). This new 'arrangement' began the 'shifting of responsibilities' away from Spirit anointed sons of God to unsealed men appointed by the JW 'governing body' as 'elders' to remove the "constant feature" of anointed sons of God. (19)  Cunningly, I too was approached by local unsealed JW 'elders' to accept their new 'congregational arrangement'.  My refusal to do so aroused great anger. I informed them that they did not have the spiritual qualifications or scriptural authority to be appointed as congregation elders.

After that, not only was I carefully watched, but a form of social ostracism was begun. Nevertheless, and in accordance with my newly acquired Spirit knowledge, I began to make it known that female JW members do not have scriptural authority to teach. (20)  This inflamed them still further, as women were teaching men in the congregation and teaching heads of families during house to house preaching. I knew that their activities contravened the written Word of God; a  charge they do not, and cannot, dispute. And yet this sect falsely calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses still allow women to teach, and still use unsealed men to appoint other unsealed men as 'elders'. I began asking myself: Why are they allowing this? Surely they know it is wrong? The answer to these questions, as explained later, is what my work has become.
