But with reference to the hiring of labour, what did the perfect mind of God instruct employers in regard to the hiring of men?  Put simply: "The wages of a hired labourer should not stay all night with you until morning." (Lev 19:13). Yet, because of the callous indifference of Godless employers today, not only are hired employees not paid their wages each day, but in most cases they are not paid until several days or weeks later!  Any man who hires another to do work for him should have his wages ready to give him at the end of each day. If an employer considers this arrangement too troublesome or inconvenient, they should not be permitted to hire another for his labour.

Although present methods of employment are significantly different to those which existed in ancient Israel, the Will of God and His Judgement of employers and their pretexts for having deviated from His Law, has not. This Law is directed to all men, and was not made obsolete by The Christ's sacrificial death. ⁽⁹⁾  Only judicial decrees were made obsolete by The Christ.

Even now, the frantic pursuit of 'piece work' intrudes into my dreams, caused by years of financial anxiety. The threat of being without daily bread and of incurring debts still disturbs my subconscious mind. Such unnecessary economic deprivation created by an oppressive system was instituted by those "driving others to work".  Really then, those who deliberately implement measures to impose economic deprivation are the ones guilty of relentlessly "driving others to work." ⁽¹⁰⁾

I have often wondered what life would be like if we were all caretakers of the land and its resources, and we loved one another. Then the whole community, the weak and the strong, could share in the fulfilment of everyone's needs; rather than be forced to fulfil the selfish aims of the few, at great cost to the many. It is because of continuing in the original disobedience, that man still has to sweat for his bread. ⁽¹¹⁾  Those that stop rebelling against God, sweat for it no longer. I  have proved this to be so.  Men rejecting spirit life under God, fabricate many schemes to support their "darkness".

It is because of the wanton pursuit of sensual gratification, ⁽¹²⁾  particularly in technologically advanced nations, that the vast majority of people are predominantly materialistic in nature.  And by such collated evidence, it can truthfully be stated that the power of the one "driving others to work" is only effective among those who according to their materialistic disposition spiritually rebel against good moral principle. As prophesied, the ones "driving others to work" will "come to a stop" and shall cease in their effectiveness against people of God. ⁽¹³⁾
