MATTHEW 24:4-28.

Some of The Christ's prophecy in Matthew chapter 24 is already being fulfilled. We await the Kingdom Rule of  God and the Spirit "presence" of The Christ Michael and his 144,000 anointed brothers. They will be a Kingdom of priests in the "new heavens" over a "new earth". (Rev 21:1-4). The current desolation of Babylon/Iraq is part of  the  downfall of "Babylon the great" before the Kingdom Rule of God begins. (Rev 16:17-19 & 11:15).  The three questions asked were:

"When will these things be"?

"What will be the sign of your presence"?

What will be "the conclusion of the system of things"?  (Matt 24:3).

"For many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am the Christ'":  These are men who falsely claim Spirit authority from God and give to mankind "lying signs and portents".  (See Page 6/4/97B for evidence of the "lying signs and portents" of the sect of JWs).

"Wars and reports of wars":  ("news of battles far away". NEB).

"Food shortages":  There have already been many famines in Third World countries.

"Earthquakes in one place after another":  (The "birth-pangs of the new age". NEB).

"People will deliver you up to tribulation":  Evil activity such as hostile behaviour, ostracism and excommunication ('disfellowshipping') were employed by JW congregation members to spiritually "kill" (make spiritually inactive) faithful anointed ones in those congregations for having strictly adhered to the Word of God and His Spirit disciplines.  (Rev 11:7-10).

"Many will be stumbled" and "betray one another" ("Many will fall from their faith") (NEB):  Unsealed JW 'elders' of the "disgusting thing" have betrayed and stumbled congregations with their "lying signs and portents" and apostate teachings.  (Matt 24:15)  (2 Thess 2:1-12).

"Many false prophets will arise and mislead many":  Included among them are the Pope, Joseph  Smith, Joseph Rutherford, etc     indeed all who recommend and appoint others as priests and 'elders' without a Spirit anointing from God. Among them are paedophiles, homosexuals, etc.  (See Page 15/7/02 for evidence of child sex abuse among JW 'elders').

"Because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off":  ("As lawlessness spreads, men's love for one another will grow cold". NEB).

"But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved":  Those who have faithfully endured spiritual persecution till death, or who faithfully endure it until the "conclusion of the system of things" (this "darkness") will be saved.  (Eph 6:12).

"This good news of the Kingdom":  The principles and teachings of The Christ will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations.  (24:14 NEB).

"The disgusting thing that causes desolation":  All those who usurped the Spirit authority of faithful anointed sons of God and removed this "restraint" to their apostate wickedness in Christ's congregations. The "restraint" is Holy Spirit within anointed chosen ones of God.  Unsealed  apostate JW 'elders' are the "disgusting thing" "standing in a holy place" without The Christ's approval. They are the apostate "man of lawlessness" who by usurping Spirit anointed sons of God have caused their own desolation.  (2 Thess 2:1-12).

The "presence" of the Son of Man The Christ Michael will be evident to everyone on earth. Perceptive servants of God will spiritually "see" his heavenly presence and will be able to communicate with him. The symbolic "carcass", the remaining Spirit instructions from God through The Christ before his arrival,  is The Opened "Little Scroll".  (Rev 10:8-11).
