WHAT IS THE "ROD" OF ISAIAH 11:4
AND REVELATION 2:27, 12:5 &
19:15?
It is of the utmost importance to know who the
one is that will "strike the earth with
the rod of his mouth; and with the
Spirit of his lips he will put the wicked one to death."
(Isaiah 11:4).
The nations are full of wickedly disposed people
who reject Almighty God and live in contravention of His Will. But I know of
very few who have been put to death by the "Spirit of his lips".
So what does this prophecy through Isaiah really mean, and when will it begin to
take place worldwide?
To his anointed brothers The Christ Michael said:
"To him who is victorious,
to him who perseveres in doing my will to the end,
I will give authority over the nations the same authority which I
received from my Father and he shall rule them with an iron rod,
smashing them to bits like earthenware; and I will give him also the
star* of
dawn. Hear, you who have ears to hear, what the Spirit says to the
churches!" (Rev 2:26-29 NEB).
But to "shepherd" nations with an
"iron rod", even "smashing" some to pieces, is very
different to the "Way" by which our Lord Jesus has shepherded
"sheep"-like ones toward total subjection to God. (John 14:6)
