THE PROPHECY OF ISAIAH 40:1-5 (NWT & NEB).

On June 6th 2001 I received a dream/vision in which I was in the company of the apostate Ian Hoccom of Cwmbran.  I  noticed he was wearing camouflaged combat fatigues, the kind that military personnel wear. He suggested I try on a pair. At first I refused, but then went away to put a pair on. But before I could do so, the dream ended.

This dream/vision was a warning not to become involved with those who are engaged in "military service" against spiritual "Jerusalem", for the reason stated in Zechariah 14:12. (Isaiah 40:2).  The meaning of the symbolic expressions in Isaiah 40:1-5 are as follows:

In this prophecy, Almighty God directs His holy angels to "speak tenderly" and be of comfort to faithful servants of  "Zion" who have remained loyal despite having been exiled in a spiritual "wilderness". (40:2,3 NEB). The "wilderness" condition we were sent into, away from Godless ones and apostates, was to prepare for "the  way  of  Jehovah" and facilitate His return with deliverance to "Zion".  (62:10  12 NEB)  (Rev 12:14 NEB). The "Little Scroll" has been prepared as "a road for the Lord through the wilderness" to "make the highway for our God through the desert plain straight". (40:3 NEB & NWT).  For those being redeemed by Jehovah this is the "Way of Holiness" through which the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.  (40:5 NEB.  35:8-10).

The hostility of JW apostates against faithful anointed members of "Zion" engaged in sanctifying work in the congregations, and which led unsealed JW 'elders' to engage in "military service" against them to usurp their authority and excommunicate them, was the "penalty" these faithful ones paid to prove their loyalty to God and to reveal who the apostates occupying the spiritual "land" of God are.  (40:2 NEB).

Verse 4 describes those in a lowly spirit condition who shall be "lifted up", and every exalted "mountain" who shall be "brought down".  Those who are difficult "rugged places" shall be made harmoniously "smooth", until there is equality in all communities on earth.  (40:4 NEB).

These are the ways by which the glory of the Lord will be revealed. They shall be fulfilled when Almighty God begins His Rule over all mankind.  (40:5 & 10 NEB).
