Laying on my bed, still throbbing
From labours in the sun,
Till night's shadow brought it sadly to a close.
But my soul is full.
Strong colours did awaken me,
Lifting my spirit out of its shade.
And the gentle scent of new earth
Came to my nose like an old friend.
My heart pumped wildly its many streams,
Then was cooled by delightful breezes.
And I am satisfied.
