HOMOSEXUALS: MEN WHO LIE WITH MEN.
| THE REASONS WHY
GOD GIVES
SUCH ONES OVER TO UNCLEANNESS. |

"Therefore
God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to
uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonoured among them".
(Rom 1:24). |

They
"exchanged the truth of God for the lie". |
|
(3) |
They
"venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather
than the
One who created, who is blessed forever. Amen."
(1:25). |

"In
their wickedness they are stifling the truth". (1:18
NEB).

THE CONSEQUENCES.
.
"In consequence, I
say, God has given them up to shameful passions. Their women have exchanged
natural intercourse for unnatural, and their men in turn, giving up natural
relations with women, burn with lust for one another; males behave indecently
with males, and are paid in their own persons the fitting wage of such
perversion."

are given up "to their own depraved reason." (1:28

They cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9,10). |

With
"no possible defence for their conduct", they are "paid in
their own persons
the fitting wage of such perversion".
(Rom 1:21&27
NEB). Consigned to satan for
the destruction of their bodies (including
through A.I.D.S., etc). (1 Cor 5:5 NEB).

THE PURPOSE OF CONSIGNING THEM TO SATAN.
.
The apostle Paul
warned that none who practice homosexual perversion will possess the Kingdom of
God. He instructed the Corinthian congregation that such a one must be rooted
out of their company and "consigned to satan for the destruction
of the body, so that his spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord."
(Please read 1 Cor 5:1-6 &
6:9-11 NEB).
The importance of this is the action we must take if such acts of uncleanness
occur among sham Christians in our company. They must be rooted out of our
association because "A little leaven leavens all the dough". (1 Cor
5:6 NEB).
We are not concerned with the perversions of those outside the Assembly of God,
for they are judged by God. But those who have been baptized in the purifying
"waters" in dedication to God but have turned to such immoral conduct
must be rooted out of our company. (1 Cor 5:2 NEB).
"For if we wilfully persist in sin after receiving the knowledge of the
truth, no sacrifice for sins remains: only a terrifying expectation of Judgement
and a fierce fire which will consume God's enemies." (Heb 10:26,27
NEB).

HUMAN PASSIONS. |

(1) |
The passion for serving God while remaining single. (1 Cor 7:8). |
| (2) |
Natural passion of a Christian for one of the opposite sex leading to
marriage. (1 Cor 7:9). |
| (3) |
Unnatural passions among persons who worship creation (other humans of the
same sex)
rather than worship the Creator and Giver of life. (Rom 1:24-27
NEB).

The apostle Paul said this:
"Surely you know that the unjust will never come into possession of the Kingdom of God. Make no mistake: no fornicator or idolater, none who are guilty
either of adultery or of homosexual perversion... will possess the Kingdom of
God. Such were some of you. But you have been through the purifying
waters; you have been dedicated to God and justified through the name of the
Lord Jesus and the Spirit of our God." (From 1 Cor 6:9-11
NEB).
Here we see the scope of the purifying "waters" of baptism in the
dedication of one's life to God.

inclination for persons of one's own sex. |

PERVERT: |
Turn aside from its proper use; Lead astray (person, mind) from
right opinion or conduct or especially religious
belief. An apostate. |
