HAVE THE "FOUR WINDS" FROM THE
FOUR ANGELS OF GOD BEEN RELEASED?*

"After this I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so that no wind should blow on sea or land or on any tree. Then I saw another angel rising out of the east, carrying the seal of the Living God; and he called aloud to the four angels who had been given the power to ravage land and sea: 'Do no damage to sea or land or trees until we have set the seal of our God upon the foreheads of His servants.'" (Rev 7:1-3 NEB).

The answer to the above question* is: Not at this time. While it is true that many disasters have occurred on earth over the centuries, these "four winds" will not be released until all anointed servants of our God are "sealed". (7:3 NEB)

HOW WILL THE GREATEST "EARTHQUAKE"
CAUSE THE CITIES OF THE NATIONS TO FALL?
On November 12th 1970 a devastating tropical cyclone struck Bangladesh and West Bengal. It was one of the deadliest disasters in modern times. Up to 500,000 people lost their lives in the storm, primarily as a result of the storm surge. There have been many examples of climactic events such as these. For example, since 1968 climatologists have also noted a marked decrease in rainfall across many African countries, particularly Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Sudan, and Ethiopia. It has led to the devastation of vast tracts of land and caused hundreds of thousands of deaths. It continues. (Isaiah 18:1-7). And in Mexico City seven thousand men were killed by an earthquake this very year. But while such earthquakes and storms are undoubtedly devastating for mankind, a far greater spirit "earthquake" is prophesied to take place.

The significance of the Mexico earthquake was that it was part of the "sounding" of the seventh angel's warnings. This earthquake occurred to signal that of those who were called to the heavenly "City" of God, seven thousand men were refined out by the bitterness of the "Little Scroll" for having apostatized while in His service. They were killed by this spirit "earthquake". (10:8-11 & 11:13).

The reason why Revelation 16:18,19 describes the last great earthquake on earth as one "such as had not occurred since men came to be on the earth, so extensive an earthquake, so great. And the great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God" is that this spirit "earthquake" will be by the Spirit of the Lord's Judgement within the spirits of all mankind. In this coming "great earthquake" at Har-Ma.ged'on, all members of the "false prophet", the "wild beast" and all worshippers remaining in sectarian "Babylon" will be judged and abyssed "while still alive". (16:15 21. 19:20). The outpouring of this seventh "bowl" of the anger of God upon the Godless will cause the cities of their nations to fall!

When the seventh "trumpet" is blown, not only will it herald, "the kingdom of the world (has) become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ", but it will also herald the outpouring of the seventh "bowl". (11:15 19. 16:17 21). Only when the seventh "bowl" is completely poured out will damage to sea or land or trees as a result of the "four winds" cease.
