"WITH THE SPIRIT OF HIS LIPS HE WILL PUT
THE WICKED ONE TO DEATH." (Isaiah 11:4).
"WITH THE SPIRIT OF HIS LIPS"?
The prophecy of
Isaiah chapter 11 does not imply that while on earth the one from the
"stock of Jesse" would come and put the wicked to death (we know he did
not). (11:1 NEB).
But it does say "he will put the
wicked one to death."
This raises the question: Who are the wicked ones included
in this death? The "wicked one" is a description of earthly
followers of satan who are revealed by their wicked works. There is ample
evidence today that the wicked works among mankind today are a far greater
number than at any time in human history. We can deduce from this that the
expression "he will put the wicked one to death" is part of
a prophecy yet to be fulfilled.
But how will The Christ Michael,
the once human offspring of the lineage of Jesse, implement such a
fear inspiring Spirit work worldwide? (11:1-4). This work was prefigured
when this "shoot" from the "stock of Jesse" was on
earth: "He who carries on sin originates with the devil, because
the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose
the Son of God was made manifest, namely, to break up the works of the devil."
(1 John 3:8). Does this mean that an after-effect of his spiritual work on
earth was that wicked ones were put to death? This has not proven to be
the case. For since Christ was on earth the attendant Holy Spirit from God has
"put the wicked one to death" only in the sense that those being
sanctified by Holy Spirit no longer practice sin. (1 John 3:9). But wickedness
is still prevalent among the rest of mankind on earth.
THE DISPOSAL OF WICKEDNESS ON EARTH WILL
BEGIN AFTER "THE SIGNAL" TO GATHER HIS PEOPLE.
"On that day a
scion from the root of Jesse shall be set up as a signal to the
peoples; the nations shall rally to it, and its resting-place shall
be glorious."
(11:10 NEB).
"And it must occur in that day that Jehovah will again offer His hand,
a second time, to acquire the remnant of His people who will
remain over..."
(11:11). In Isaiah 65:20 it says concerning those living in the
"new earth", "anyone dying under a hundred years must be accursed by
God." (Moffatt). The effect of the "Spirit of his lips"
will be the termination of stubbornly wicked ones
the reward for
their evil being called down upon them. In the
"new earth" a Spirit of righteousness overflowing like a flood will
sweep away all wickedness. (65:17 &

THE
"VOICE"
OF
THE
CHRIST
MICHAEL
WILL PERMEATE ALL SPIRITS ON EARTH.
The heavenly Spirit
"voice" of The Christ Michael (the "Spirit of his lips") will
be experienced in the spirits of all mankind; giving rise to great
anguish within those whose works are wicked, but great joy to those exercising
faith in him. (65:13,14 NEB).
The Word from the
"Spirit of his
lips" will cause many
deaths. "Wasting with sickness, yet overflowing with righteousness",
"justice in full flood" will destroy stubbornly wicked ones,
including worshippers of the political "wild beast" "caught while
still alive" by the prevailing Spirit of the new "Jacob" age. (10:22,23
